Man last seen three months ago just reported missing

Deputies in one Eastern Carolina county are asking for your help in locating a man who was last seen more than three months ago.

Onslow County deputies say the family of Kenneth Wise Jr. just reported him missing on Wednesday.

The 50-year-old man was last seen on August 9th at his cousin's house on Cozy Crow Trail in Jacksonville

He wasn't reported missing until mid-November. Article also describes his minivan as a "commercial" type vehicle.

Deputies took a report on Wednesday after the family indicated they had not seen or heard from him in a while.

Wise is described as a white male with hazel eyes and balding, brown hair, approximately 5’9 and 260 lbs.

He wears glasses and usually has a mustache and goatee.

Deputies believe Wise left in a 2013 commercial van, black in color with New York registration 53337.

Was this normal for him? Was his van part of a business that required travel all over the country? I wonder how he "told" his family about his travels? By text messages? Or with phone calls? Or were these locations he mentioned he was planning on going before he left his cousins house? It's not clear to me if he ever reached any of these places. MOO.

Agreed. Unless that vehicle has some type of GPS tracking, this could be like the proverbial needle in a haystack. He could have been involved in an accident about anywhere and in a hospital (or worse). It makes me wonder if family was used to him being out of touch for long periods. I also wonder about the NY license plate - where exactly did he live ? All JMOO
