Could the furniture have been purchased/rented to replace items the cops took for forensics? Just a thought.

Possibly, but it looked like the search was going on at the time the furniture and mattress sat on that trailer. The msm reported that 2 cars were seized, but there was no mention of other large items being removed, unless there was an earlier search that was not reported.

Don't know who said what but the cops need to really talk to the one that made her mad and upset. Stop worrying about rino and find my cousin. Or tell us what they think happened.

I happened to be driving on Hibbs Rd yesterday and saw that the furniture was still in the yard on a trailer

Is this common in the area? We have so much rain where I am that the furniture would be quickly ruined.

Not really. This area gets it's fair share of rain, as a matter of fact we just had quite a bit of rain within the last few days. Then add humidity to the mix and IMO that the furniture would indeed be ruined.

Certainly an odd time to replace furniture, unless a family member was replacing theirs or moving and just happened to offer it to them. I hope LE thoroughly checked out any sofas and mattresses, inside and out.

Do we know if she was still working? Could she have cashed a paycheck and be living off that money? If she has someone to stay with, she wouldn’t need that much.

Wow, no news. I'm really hopeful that LE is doing the do, and there will be several arrests soon.

I’m wondering who was the source of info about the mysterious Rhino.
1) Was one of her friends with her when she allegedly met him at the bar? If so, why no description or other info.
2) If she went to the bar alone and hooked up with him, why would she tell anyone, especially her bf.
3) If she did meet Rhino one night and then he texted her, was that when the bf found out and confronted her? He took her phone and broke it. This is the reason there has been no pings. She stormed out on foot and either
a) went to meet Rhino and ran off with him
b) went to a friend out of her inner circle and is in hiding
c) was abducted by a stranger
4) The bf assaulted/harmed her, made up the story about Rhino, and disposed of her in an unknown location.
Trying to put some scenarios together based on the limited information we have.

It is virtually impossible, IMO, that she left her boyfriend to be with Rhino because she would've a) taken her son with her and b) by now almost certainly communicated with friends and loved ones who aren't her boyfriend. Unless this Rhino cat potentially harmed her, which would negate "b" but not "a". So, Rhino is probably just a "squirrel!" and default "blame the victim" strategy which we see all the time. Almost a subtle attempt at setting up a future defense, IMO, in that it potentially skews public opinion about her stability.

It is extremely unlikely that she has a friend that is so hidden as to not be known by her closest confidantes in her inner circle, but it is possible I suppose. And again, there's the whole she would've taken her son with her aspect, as well as it would be a highly atypical and exaggerated reaction to a domestic argument to go into hiding this long and communicate with NO ONE. At all. Not even her ATM.

Possible that she was abducted by a stranger, but she would've had to have been walking to do that, and the chances of her leaving the home on foot despite having a car readily available to her - and her leaving her son there to fend for himself - is infinitesimally small, IMO.

So that leaves one, and it just so happens to meet the criteria for Occam's razor.

Wait—no one else was home to watch her son when she left?! If true, that is a game changer.

I can see going on foot if a) someone had taken her keys during the argument or b) the keys were physically located near the person she was trying to get away from at the moment.

I do agree that Rhino is probably an irrelevant distraction. How many guys from a bar would be eager to get in the middle of a situation where the girl lives with her young son and bf? Too much drama to deal with.

She left the house on foot. We don’t know who was at the house or where her son was at the time.

To my knowledge, there was a confrontation at the home to some level or degree, so if she left it would have left her child there with at least one individual. This would be the individual she reportedly got into a heated altercation with, so in my view it is highly unlikely that she left her child there to be alone with him while she scurried away on foot. ESPECIALLY when she had a car at her disposal.

"Fend for himself" in this case means leaving her child at the house without her being present.

Her son was reportedly at the home, IIRC.

We also don't know that she actually left on foot, which seems unlikely given the context and circumstances.

True. But that is what last person/s to see her reported.

IMO... the police put the Rhino story out to the public, so that any possibility of a Rhino existing could be proved or disproved. A tactic. Not a distraction. Thus, this locks this individual into a story that can be used in the future, when he/she is being interrogated about their involvement in her disappearance.

The only mention I’ve seen of Rhino has been families Facebook posts. Do you have other information where this person has been mentioned?

If nothing happened to her in the house, it sounds like she might of called somebody to come get her after storming out. Does anyone in that neighborhood have security cameras for that day

Wouldnt the bar she went to meet this guy have him on camera?

Hmmm some interesting comments on the GoFundMe page.
I've tried to read all of the family's FB posts and looked at as many MSM reports that I can find but I haven't determined if we actually know who reported that she left on foot and how they know what she was wearing. Has anyone seen anything that states who it was that reported that? I know it's been said that she lives with her bf and other family but who was actually at the house when she allegedly left?

As always everything I say is JMO

I would think it's unlikely that residents on that road would have cameras however i could be wrong. There are some businesses that may. IIRC someone said she was seen walking toward 70, which is to the north. On that route there is a church directly across the street from her house, another business that I believe is a repair shop of some sort, and the Coastal solid waste dump. Beyond that it's just Croatan National Forest until you reach get 70

As always, what I say is JMO
