NC NC - Kyle Fleischmann, 24, Charlotte, 9 Nov 2007 - #2

Two missing persons stay on my mind, especially around the holidays. One is Kyle and the other is Brittanee Drexel.

Prayers this Thanksgiving that their families will finally get some answers; even praying for a miracle that their loved ones are safe and will be back home with them to celebrate more holidays.

Still wishing to find the answers about Kyle and Britt's disappearance.

Never giving up hope that one day their loved ones will have closure.

But why would he be walking towards 12th St or Davidson St if was on 5th St? I'm from Charlotte, I know it can be a dangerous place. I just don't understand why he would start walking towards such a shady area and why he wouldn't just wave down a cab. Any thoughts?

For some reason, Kyle's face captured my heart the first time I saw his picture- right after he went missing in 2007. It is absolutely heartbreaking. All of it. The fact that he tried calling people several times. ugh. His poor family.

I am glad to know the ATF is involved...meaning there must be some developments behind the scenes that gave them federal jurisdiction.

I pray for his father and family- that they continue to persevere on with their mission of finding Kyle and his killer.

Didn't they say he lost his group of friends? Perhaps he thought he could find them easier by walking? Also, he was intoxicated & left his coat & wallet, so he probably only had a limited amount of cash. It also seems like I read that he was less than 10 miles from his home/apartment? (I want to say 8 miles, but I can't find which thread I read that on)

Does anyone know where I can watch the Vanished episode that featured Kyle? I've googled & can't seem to find it.

He didnt lose his friends, they just went home earlier than he did from what I heard from the case. they also said he was way too far from home to ever attempt walking home. So why walk towards a dangerous and deserted section of town?

Could Kyle have been disoriented or could someone have forced him to walk this way?

:bump:

Thinking of Kyle, his family, and his loved ones today after re-watching the episode of Vanished with Beth Holloway that his disappearance was featured on.

Kyle's 29th birthday would be next week. Where is Kyle? :(

They said a cab driver spotted him walking in this bad section of town. Cab driver said he noticed him because it was late at night, he was alone in a bad section of town, and had no coat on on a cold night. So no, I dont think he was being forced. Disoriented, I don't know. His sister said he wouldn't walk home because it was miles away. so kyle where were you going??

Hi all,

This is my first post on WS. Kyle's case is one that I have followed since he vanished. We are approaching five years and there is still no closure. :(

I have read both threads here and many articles elsewhere.

I am sure I am not the only one who wonders why Kyle called his father's office in the wee hours of the morning, as opposed to a home or cell number. Doesn't this suggest (again) that he was disoriented, more than he would have been from the alcohol he had drunk? (Do we know how much he had? In the surveillance video, he is walking relatively well [not staggering or stumbling]).

Those phone calls really make this case stick in your ribs.

Thinking of you today Kyle. May the questions your family has be answered soon

Thanks, CanManEh!

I also just now realized, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can watch (commercial free) all the episodes of Disappeared at no charge.

I go to websleuths every day and every day I think, hope and pray that there will be some new information on Kyle.

I'm never giving up hope.

Still hoping the answers to Kyle's disappearance will be known (soon).

Rilke one thing to consider about him calling his dads office is that it may have been an accident. He may have just gone into his phone and hit a dad button not realizing it was the office (especially if he was a little drunk). I believe after the office call he called his dads cell several times correct? This gives me the impression he was perhaps a little drunk and called the dad office by accident... upon realizing his mistake (maybe when it went to voicemail at the office) he called his dads cell phone several times.
