I'm about to making a sweeping generalization, but based on a coworker who forced me to watch some recruitment/sales video for The Secret, I can see it really appealing to those with certain types of personality disorder; i.e., those who are already inclined to believe they can make reality whatever they want it to be just by wanting it really hard.

I must say that this case is really affecting me; for days I was nauseated. I thought it was the flu but it wasn't. It's just what they did to her; they attempted to erase her and they FAILED. I cannot wait to see HER tried as well. When does her trial start does anyone know?

I doubt if ANY pro bono defense atty will do that in this county! My friend from HS will most likely end up his DA since she does so much pro bono work in that area for those who have no $$$ but continue to commit crimes.

Just thankful it was not a random act in that area . . .

Yeah, jury pool of the > 30K people who have NOT be touched by this case - I see a change in venue IF warranted.

He's lucky the Sheriff took him 'cause those in the know knew the outcome :jail:

"The Secret," as presented by that group and as espoused by Jodi Arias, et. al, manages to mangle the universal law upon which it's based: The Law of Attraction, which is one of the (28?) Universal/Spiritual Laws. The Universal Laws have been in existence eons longer than the marketing gurus who capitalized on it and nuanced it into something else.

They went through Grant's first (he named his iPod Touch).

The second one was not named. All it said was Apple IPod.

Grant used his A LOT. The second one was never used for internet activity except for on the dates 07/13 through around the 20th. The only internet searches were for rent cars, trailer hitches, Lowes, and a pay-as-you go phone (although Grant did search for that on his too). There were never any pictures except for starting on 07/13 and they were all of the baby.

The Lantern software she used to dump the data from both iPod also gave GPS coordinates of each photo and also each WiFi connection.
