It does. I think this is the diver who found her head.

Brace yourselves...This Dive Team testimony gets pretty brutal! #AmandaHayes

  • #382
He's the witness who gets so nervous, bless his heart. He was shaking like a leaf trying to use the pointer pen last time.

  • #383
He seems either nervous or emotional about the testimony. Can't blame him at all. :(

  • #384
As a certified diver, I can tell you this is true. Neutral buoyancy is HARD, especially in that environment.

  • #385
Neither one of the divers has a mask on?

I'm sorry but the diver giving the thumbs up looks like he was photo shopped onto that picture.

Ok, Court over for the day.
See ya'll all tomorrow 9:30 a.m. Don't be late.

  • #388
Thursday might start at 11:30 due to the Judge needing to seek medical care he could not reschedule.

  • #389
Judge says no to the picture of her head if identity is not an issue in this trial. He has found that identity has not been an issue thus far. To do otherwise would be highly prejudicial. Now discussing the knife in the Durango.

Judge Stephen's places the ball in the Defense's lap. If #AmandaHayes makes identity of the victim an issue...Gruesome photos come in,

Re: knife being "planted"... the jury can make their own conclusions.

The judge is not liking the issue of the knife....says it's not relevant unless they make it relevant #AmandaHayes

I HATE MY JOB!!! Ok not really, but I missed all day of testimony thankyouverymuch. Pffft me.

Re: knife being "planted"... the jury can make their own conclusions.

I agree with the judge. These adult jurors are not stupid. They can infer and debate, IMHO.

So ya'll, I'm thinking AH has to testify. How else does she get her "I was scared, I'm a victim" story out there?

Thoughts?

Me thinks she will have no choice.

Mi Chiquita, if you saw Grant Hayes' trial, it was the part about the discovery of the remains. It will continue tomorrow.

Now, I'll miss most of tomorrow because I have to get a molar pulled and the oral surgeon is 60 miles away where I used to live.

I'm sure I'll catch the beginning and the end and miss the middle. Seems I'll be nursing my poor widdle moufie while catching up.

I'm looking forward, in a sick sort of way to see how Gaskins will do his cross examination. He's the one new addition to the cast of characters and his trains of thought are a true train wreck, IMHO.

:trainwreck:

Seattle - I'm hating on your job too....if it keeps you away from us. Tiger Balm is an angel, am willing to send chocolate.
Surfie, I had no idea that in black water/zero visibility...divers make snow angel movements on creek bottom and pick up whatever they feel-find. Amazing !
I'm back to the john boat bilge plug. Did Gaskins really have that boat delivered to the NC court house basement...to show us that the plug is attached to a stick of wood (with a rope). ...so that it can not be misplaced and washed away from boat.??? Wowzers, that's nutz !

Feel better after tomorrow, CM..... finally. .will actually send soft Puffs to you....for a painless day.

1) YVW! :)

2) Doubtful, seems like we never see her while they are actually in session.
We saw Grant much more during his trial.

Maybe once Defense gets their turn we will see more of her reactions.

bbm

You said it, Nymeria! What did we do to deserve that?? Was it some type of group punishment?? What did we all do wrong to deserve that nausea ad nauseam?? I just had a true <shiver>. Ack.
