Here comes the life-sized skeleton.

Dr. Deborah Radisch, chief medical examiner for the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner... I remember her, she's good

 She is a Professor at both Duke AND UNC?

Isn't there some law about that? Could she be charged with treason?
:giggle:

Going by what I know of college rivalries....

ETA- Either way, she is one accomplished woman.

At that time I don't think Karen wanted to face what had happened so she closed her eyes (her mind) down until with time she was forced to hear more and more confirming her worst fear. I think when someone is that wrapped up in denial she wouldn't remove her kids because at that point she is refusing to believe it.

Yes, I can accept there was some denial on KB's part...but when someone tells you as clearly as Amanda did that Laura is dead...along with asking for a hole and using a boat I only believe her denial may have been about when, where and why but not that Laura was in fact murdered and on her property. KB seemed to help them discuss ways of disposing the body, removing the items that were left such as the towel and machete and never getting help from police. I just don't feel she is credible as to her involvement after the fact even though she was brought into this murder after the fact. I also think Amanda thought she would cover for her...and she would have if police never showed up at her house.

Stock up on essentials while you are at it. Sometime this week most of the U.S. will be under a pile of snow and ice. Then we can all give the judge a run for his money with sniffles!

Trying to be delicate in asking this.
If you cut someone in half mid torso, would you not have issue with organs popping out? Specifically intestines?

It's gross I know, but trying to figure out how this was not just a total slop job.

Feels like we have been this way (In Michign) since January started.
I tried to shovel the driveway during the lunch break and only got half done. Our snowblower is dead :tantrum:. I have gotten a TON of good exercise shoveling this year. The piles on the sides of the driveway are about 5 feet high at the moment.
:banghead:SICKKKKKKKKKKKKK OFFFFFFFFFFF SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! :banghead:

Correct me if I am wrong but the items left behind by Amanda and Grant were the 2 coolers, towel, machete, suitcase and note by computer. It is not lost by me that KB put the suitcase in fire pit, hid machete(she said because she didn't want her boys to handle it but later admitted they had machetes themselves) and towel in barn and told her child not to use a cooler. I think this shows she knew these items were involved in the murder cover up.....and she did this all after they had left the property. If she still hadn't processed what had occurred why do this? She not only believed Laura was dead but disposed of the items left at her house IMO

The judge doesn't have a cold; he has sinus and/or allergy issues. He sniffles in every trial.

I thought it was a torso cut in two too but I think it is a person's throat section?

I would imagine cutting a torso midsection would have the organs falling out.

I don't like how she handled this situation but she didn't destroy the evidence. She hid some of it and discarded other stuff but I think she didn't cross the line and destroy anything. Didn't she finally admit where the machete was hidden? Again I don't like it but...
