The 'real' Amanda is getting testified about now. Love it.

Oh, this is awesome. I'm loving it. :)

Based on her description from Amanda... Laura died from a simple fall immediately? She fell, Grant says she's dead. It doesn't normally happen that way. Sounds like Laura wasn't telling her "friend" the real deal.

Oh I looooooooooooove this witness. She is outing Amanda's sweet, breathless little girl act!

Does anyone know what this witness was in for and what her background is? Defense will need to discredit her somehow.

She stated it at first, embezzelment and something else. She pleaded guilty.

The elder Mr. Grant Hayes (the previous def. dad) contacted and faxed some 'love letters' to the DA's office this morning that AH had written to GH from 2011-2012. Boz had to argue to get them introduced, they have sent for Patsy Hayes to appear in court to come testify today regarding those letters.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!

I really think amanda is the one who killed Laura!!! I wish they could prove it!!!! moo

Hopefully, Boz will go over the law of "acting in concert" in his closing, as he did so well in Grant's trial. The proof of who exactly killed Laura will probably never be known. The acting in concert charge hopefully will get her 1st degree murder.

I'm trying to get this straight. Why would this witness be blown away because an inmate told her she witnessed an accident death? I don't get it.

Patricia going head to head with Mr. Gaskins. Gives as good as she gets.

The gall to be upset with her sister for cooperating with police. Really shows the mindset of this psycho.

She said her sister called police, but as I recall, the police showed up on her sister's doorstep once they saw the phone pings in TX. The sister had not called the police. Amanda obviously expected her sister to cover for her.

Why didn't the State address the issue of how this testimony helped/hindered or did nothing for her own benefit? Why didn't the State take the air out of this sail???

  • #275
He showed up at her house??? Is that normal?

Yes, she put her sister in the most gruesome position, then was angry because she believed that KB called the police. A piece of work this woman is.

I do wonder if this witness promised the DA more than what she gave.

Jurors are taking notes in #AmandaHayes . Some look over at Amanda with what is described to me as "disgust"

Then the defense better stop chewing on her record and what time she served otherwise the witness might remember a great deal more.

I missed the beginning of this witness testimony ... what's the gist of how she described Amanda?
