Amanda still has ill-will towards Laura....yes, yes, yes. Very evident throughout her testimony.
Yes! And Grant too, evident from his TV interview "Laura got herself killed"...:facepalm::facepalm:

Boz & Becky make a good team, IMO. He's a fast talker for sure, but he knows how to get straight to the main points and hammer them home. I also noticed how he used the word "obliterated" about 3 or 4 different times. They couldn't get that word in during Galloway's testimony, but they sure did get it in now! ;)

But nothing beats the word "COINCIDENCE." I personally love when he lists all the coinky-dinks that one must believe are merely coinky-dinks to then believe the defendant's story.

Did we ever hear (in either trial) from a neighbor in the apartment complex? Did anyone see or hear anything? I don't just mean the saw, but the struggle when she died? Like a scream or anything. And if it was planned, I would think they'd be concerned about her screaming. I'm just thinking.

Also, I wonder where Laura's tape recorder wound up. They were so careless with everything else. Maybe they sold it on craigslist. I bet they used money out of Laura's own purse to do their evil stuff.

I think the dumpster at the apartment was emptied on the 15th of July so whatever they threw away between the 13th & 15th was never recovered because so many tons of trash were already on top of it at landfill. The dumpster was only emptied every 2 weeks so whatever they threw away after the 15th in the apt dumpster was recovered, i.e. the rugs, shower curtain, etc. The saw, plastic sheeting, etc were never recovered so they were disposed of somewhere else. I'm sure they got rid of LA's phone & the tape recorder immediately after the murder. GH probably threw them in a dumpster somewhere in the early morning hours of the 14th while he was out driving to the Black Flower or shopping. We'll never know.

I think in apartment complexes they should always have some kind of camera system....like a couple at least for the parking areas. How much extra could it possibly cost? Or does it have something to do with privacy issues or something?

Does anyone have a link to the Chick fila videos? I'm disagreeing with someone here, who says that GH dropped AH off and later picked her up. That's not the case is it? I'm being told that you can see someone in the passenger seat (front) as the vehicle makes it's way around the drive thru.

They can always tap out love songs to each other on the pipes.

I am still shaking my head at what these two women ever saw in the squirt.

I thought the state always goes first in closing arguements?

Yes, unless the Defense puts on evidence. If they do, then the state has the option of waiving going first, which is almost always a good choice, since you get to talk last.

In response to the question about do defense attorneys help make up a defense......I can't speak for them all, but I doubt it. I know Rosemary and Johnnie in this case and they are very ethical attorneys. I've known them for many years. Besides, it's not worth it.

:floorlaugh: I was just thinking the same thing, what was it about Grant that attracted her? From the looks of that picture in St. John, she looked pretty good, who knew she was masking the face of a psychotic killer.

I hope BH talks about why Amanda was trying to get Sha out of town - out of state to NM! Because Amanda said Sha would have thought it was premeditated? Those words came out of Amanda's mouth. Very telling, why in the world would Sha think that? She wasn't protecting Sha, she was trying to protect herself.

Amanda's defense attorney. Johnny Gaskins and Rosemary Godwin.

The same Gaskins as some posters have said were amazed that his license to practice law hadn't been revoked is very ethical?

huh? which is it :smiliescale:
