I really wanted to hear from patsy!

Good catch Rosemary. She does have a point. Amanda would be smart to stay on Hayes mother's good side, since they have custody of her daughter.

True, however, IMO, Amanda only seems to care about Amanda. Who does this type of heinous crime, someone loving their children and putting their needs first? Not in my opinion. She didn't even seem to mind involving Sha in this mess, Sha was caught off guard and pulled into it by Amanda. I have daughters, and cannot imagine doing such a thing!

Let's get this party started!

How are they going to introduce the letters? Doesn't someone have to read them or something?

Oh, DT wants to maybe call Patsy?!?

It sounded like they were going to the overhead Surfie.
OH how I hope that is the case :please:

Who does Grant's mother blame for all this? Does she believe Grant's version and think he was not responsiible for the murder, but just helping cover up for Amanda or does she blame both of them?

Did Amanda want Lily with Grant's mother or did she just have no other option?

Now I'm confused, is Patsy going to testify or are they just going to read the letters?

The judge said they could just read them in without Patsy, but the Defense is trying to decide if they want to call her to clarify some things. It's risky, because you should never ask a witness a question that you don't know what they will say. That's the theory anyway.

Thanks! Oh, darn - I really wanted Patsy on the stand! But at least the letters will be read. I wish they'd make Amanda read the letters, that would would make my day!

wonder who puts money in amandas account at the jail now?

Bearcat (sp?) seems to be a good witness -- no "reward" for her testimony since she's already served her sentence -- "time served" & parole -- no additional time.

She told her atty about what she knew 'cuz she was worried about knowing it,etc. He said she needed to talk to Faulk. She did her time (time served) and is on parole) -- no favors, etc.

Is she now sitting in the gallery on the PT side?

ETA: Correction -- It's "Barakat" -- Here is her DPS record:

Prosecutors bring in late evidence in Amanda Hayes Raleigh murder case

Snipped:

Prosecutor Boz Zellinger said Grant's parents sent the Wake County prosecutor's office letters Amanda sent them to read over the phone to Grant following their murder arrests.

In them, Amanda tells Grant she loves him and thinks about him every day.

Amanda's defense objected to the late evidence, but Judge Stephens said he'd allow it if Patsy Hayes (Grant's mother) testified.

Stephens told defense lawyers he is always troubled by late evidence, but said the late evidence in this case is mitigated because Amanda Hayes obviously knew of the letters if she wrote them.

Prosecutors were working to get Patsy Hayes to the courtroom Friday.

IIRC... didn't LA's brother get banned from GH trial near the very end. Disrespectful to Def atty's or something like that.?

I have wondered the same thing and thought maybe it was because of the children?

Maybe they somehow knew they will be called to testify?

Yes, I had forgotten about that.

Hopeful that we are about to find that out.
