MISSING

Deputies are attempting to locate Linda McCuiston, 78 yr old female. She was seen today in the MeadowWood sub-division of Cordova around 1:00pm.

Mrs. McCuiston suffers with cognitive issues. Last seen wearing black shirt & black pants.

If anyone has seen her this afternoon (10/11/2024), we ask you call 911 right away.


SEARCH UPDATE:

Investigators have been able to narrow down and confirm that the last time Mrs. Linda McCuiston was seen was between 6:20-6:30pm on Friday evening in her yard on Country Canyon Dr. in the Meadow Wood sub-division.

She was seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

A silver alert has been issued and searches continue.

Deputies, along with search & rescue teams, continue to search wooded areas today on foot and by air with the use of drones.

We ask everyone living in the area to check around your property and inside any outbuildings you may have. If you have cameras around your residence, please go back and check them for any possible sightings of Mrs. McCuiston.

If you see or you have seen Mrs. McCuiston, please call 911 immediately.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Ms. McCuiston was last seen by law enforcement near her home. The search for Ms. McCuiston is ongoing, and every possible effort is being made to locate her.

On Wednesday, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office announced that Richmond County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of missing adults Linda Ann McCuiston and Dennis Wayne Bailey.

Sheriff Mark Gulledge has pledged to match the reward.

As a testament to our dedication, Captain Mitchell Watson of the Criminal Investigations Division has explored various tools that may assist deputies in locating missing persons, including discussions with a Canadian company,” the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said in a media release.
