Hi! Thanks for posting!

The format is to select state abbrev from pulldown at far left of subject line. Next, type the state abbrev, name, age, location, and date the person went missing.

Example:

MA - Joe Jones, 24, missing from Boston, 10 Dec 2024"

Welcome to Websleuths -

The charges for failure to report the death appear to have been dropped as no formal charges are noted in judicial records after the initial arrest. She has no records in the judicial system under that name (I tried Boyle, Boyle-South, and South) in the state of North Carolina. Smart Search - eCourts Portal. What I find odd is that in the obituary for the daughter who died that resulted in her arrest, there is NO mention made of Lisa, and it only states (the daughter) is survived by her father and 4 siblings. Lisa Michelle Boyle was taken into custody in Thomasville over the weekend after investigators developed new information about her whereabouts, police said.

Boyle had been reported missing in December 2022, with her last known contact occurring in January 2020 after she failed to appear in court.

The charges stem from a March 2019 investigation. GPD responded to a welfare check at a residence on Hunters Place in Goldsboro, where they found Natasha South-Boyle deceased. Authorities determined no foul play in her death.

Boyle, the victim’s mother, was arrested in March 2019 and charged with felony concealment or failure to report a death. She was released on bond but later failed to appear in court, according to GPD.

Police said Boyle was also wanted on a separate warrant for hit-and-run property damage from June 2019.

She is being held at the Davidson County Detention Center under a $3,000 secured bond.
