So the implication is that he put the shorts back on her when he had finished, as there is evidence of semen in the rectal swabs. (sorry for being graphic. blessings to Maggie :facepalm Why would he put only the shorts back on her? I find that odd.

Such shocking information. The only thing I hope for Maggie is that since they found the chemical cleaning bottle near her that she was rendered unconscious before this horrendous 'man' sexually assaulted her.

He should NEVER have been out, wandering the streets with such a dangerous history. It's disgusting.

I find that odd as well, and I had to reread it to make sure I understood correctly. I'm not sure what purpose it served, putting them back on. And the chemical thing confuses me. He attempted to clean her? Then left the bottle in her apartment?

I figured he probably watched her closely for a little while, as we've discussed, but man, this PC brings it to light. He was obsessed! What a disgusting, morbid, creepy man.

With so many traumatizing tragedies occurring around the same time, i.e., Robin Williams, Cooper Harris' hot car death, Kevin Ward, the riots in Ferguson, I was mentally incapable of reading the probable cause warrant until today. Just some observations....

What is the speculation on what creepy SO was doing in his vehicle between the hours of 2am and 5am that the neighbor mentioned? I am glad Maggie pulled some of his hair out. He probably suffered a full-time headache from wearing those heavy dreadlocks.

I wonder if Maggie had a gun in her bedroom. I think SO entered quietly via an unlocked door without her permission. Maybe he surprised her while she was in the bedroom. Re: the kidnapping charge, I believe he had a rope and tied her while he committed the vicious rape. Then, perhaps strangled her with it. Opinion based upon his history of tying previously-known victims. Maybe she was gagged since the neighbors did not hear any loud noises.

Did he bring his own can of "Scrubbing Bubbles" cleanser to the CS? Why did he redress her in the shorts?

My heart aches for Maggie to know that this cruel rapist's semen was found in her mouth and anal orifice. Could there be any greater pain and terror?

There were ligature marks on Daniels’ neck, which suggested she was strangled, according to the warrants. During the autopsy, the warrants said, authorities found semen in the oral and rectal swabs of Daniels’ body.

Wonder what the deal is with the yellow towel placed between her feet? Robbery is not one of the charges; however, could he have hoped to get money from her in order to get his van out of the repair shop? Does anyone think the creepy SO vacuumed her apt. after the dastardly deed? IOW, did he go in and out of her apt. after killing her.

Is his attorney court appointed? Victoria Jayne looks like she may be a touch fearful of him. One would think given the brutality Maggie suffered that his assigned lawyer would be a male.

The other thing I noticed reading the search warrant was that he was seen coming from the woods at about midday on that Friday and then he was seen departing the area near her apartment at about five-thirty pm.

That's about five hours he may have been in her apartment.

enzeder thank you kindly for your diligence. It seems I may have conceived an incorrect image of the patio at the back yard. I thought the white coverings were vertical blinds opening onto a small patio; however, it is an exterior wall painted white with landscape bushes and no concrete patio at all.

Maggie's apt. home is marked with the yellow X. Does anyone know where "Odom lived near her, in the same complex in apartment 52" in relation to Maggie's apt.?

That makes me wonder if he was inside the apt when she got home from her Wal-Mart trip. I hate that those sweet friends of hers are the ones that found her. I know it's tough to know the horrible details of the case (for us and them) but those visuals will be hard to unsee. I just can't imagine the horror poor Maggie faced when she realized he was going to kill her. I am glad she fought, I wish she would have been able to get away. RIP Maggie.

Random thoughts on the semen swabs. Since I read that her bf's semen was found (somewhere in the apt, not sure if I read where) is it possible that SO semen was in her mouth (would be most recent) and that her bf was the anal swab? Maybe older? In either case, I hope she bit down. Such details make me want to vomit and blush at the same time.

I understood it to say the mother of the victim's boyfriend was interviewed several times and she's the one that mentioned SO gawking at Maggie while she laid out and also when she and Maggie would go for walks.

Addie Shuford - the close friend/mother figure, the one she had dinner plans with Fri PM, went into the home and found Maggie.

Annie Sifford - boyfriend's mom, may or may not live in complex, commented that Odom had been gawking at Maggie, was present when Maggie was found.

Lori Sifford - may or may not live in complex, saw Odom walking from behind Maggie's apartment at 5:10 Friday evening. Is this the boyfriend's relative also?

Correct any of this if it's wrong.

In addition, if current records available for MD boyfriend's mother are correct, she lives approx. 2 miles from MD apartment. So I would say that is close enough to meet up and go for walks
