She is probably hoping if she keeps out of sight she will be out of peoples minds. Fat chance of that IMO. I would like her charged with the same thing as kimrey. Unless LE have a confession from someone i do not see how they can prove it was kimrey who actually used the chloroform.

Karla Homolka thought she could just ride off into the sunset,but she gets found and exposed. Everywhere she goes.She got caught volunteering at her kids school of all places.

I wonder what they mean by Kristy continues to cooperate.
Is she throwing Kimrey under the bus to get a Karla Homolka deal.
Is she completely throwing Kimrey under the bus, or admitting her partisipation in the murder of her sweet baby girl?

It seems to me that anything she could now say would be her word against his and nothing more. Hoping she will be charged the same as he. IMO there is no way in Hades that she can feign innocence in this crime.

That and it's about time that parents are held accountable when they don't protect their children from harm. Especially from someone they invited into the home. I'm so tired of "moms" who put boyfriends over the lives of their children.

ITA. I'm just speculating so JMO but LE may need KW's testimony against Kimrey in order to strengthen their case against him. That may also be why no charges of child endangerment have been brought against her. Yet.

I kind of understand that if it is the case but it doesn't stop Kimrey from claiming KW was the one who dosed Mariah and that he *only* disposed of her precious little body. For now I'm trusting the DA to get all their ducks in a row.

I thought it was telling that in late February 2018 that the sheriff refused to verify that KW was cleared, contrary to "published reports" and instead said the investigation was ongoing. I also thought it was unusual that Kimrey, not Mariah's mother placed the 911 call.

Hopefully LE has found enough forensic evidence to give to the DA so that a clear picture can be drawn about what happened the night Mariah disappeared. But yes, it's clear to me that KW put her daughter in harm's way and very likely knew it.

Just checked the docket -- no change -- Kimrey is still listed due in District Court on 10/09/2018, for his speeding ticket, but nothing else is found.

And I am glad to do it, Niner, it ain't no thang.

I want to know, too. Grrrr. The slimeball.

We have certainly seen in other cases when the DA will offer a reduced sentence to someone involved in the crime, but usually to a lesser degree of guilt or as an accessory. The judge withholds sentencing until after the trial of the "main" suspect. I hope we will find out who did what, but it looks like it will be a while.

Time is on our side, we can wait to see this slimy animal get his just desserts.

Kimrey has a court date of 12/4 for the speeding ticket...I thought they usually dismissed those kinds of charges when he has sonething more major but guess not. I hate that everything just went so silent

Since this is a death penalty case I expect it to drag on for quite a while. The court has to appoint attorneys who specialize in DP cases and then the endless motions begin. Little Teghan (another NC case) was murdered in 2010 and in 2014 her killer was convicted and sentenced to death. At least he didn't get a plea deal to take the DP off the table, something we often see. I don't care how long he sits on death row I just want him out of society. I feel the same about Kimrey.

Monday, April 23rd:

*Pretrial Hearing (@ ET) - NC - Mariah Kay Woods (3) (Nov. 27, 2017, Jacksonville; found Dec. 2, 2017) - *Adolphus Earl Kimrey II (32) (BF of Mom) arrested & charged (12/2/17) & indicted (on 2/23/18) with 1st degree murder, felonious child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury resulting in death & felony concealing a death, obstruction of justice, Felony 2nd degree burglary, felony larceny & Misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Plead not guilty. Held on no bond. DA will seek DP.
The cause of death was chloroform toxicity. Details of death sealed, search warrants & 911 call were unsealed Feb. 24th. 7/18/18 Autopsy released & trial date set for Sept. 2019. Onslow County No update as of 11/4
