"boyfriends are the most dangerous people around small children" Pat Brown on Nancy Grace.

To be fair though, sometimes the new woman is too, just not as often.

"boyfriends are the most dangerous people around small children" Pat Brown on Nancy Grace.

Not being snarky, but there's also a quite a number of bio parents, who prove to be dangers to their small children.

this has reminded me so much of Lisa Irwin from the beginning. It's erie and uncanny. There are many reasons why...

this says it all for me.

Her non verbals. She is also shaking her head "No" throughout the entire plea.

Just an observation that could be read in different ways and can have more than one meaning.

Just wanted to repost this as a reminder I would hate to see this thread shut down [emoji852]

"Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way, and only when such behavior is relevant to the case.

The "victim friendly" rule extends to the family members of victims and suspects. Sleuthing family members, friends, and others who have not been designated as suspects is not allowed. Don't make random accusations, suggest their involvement, nor bash and attack them. Posting their personal information, including names, addresses, and background data -- even if it is public -- is not allowed. That does not mean, however, that statements made by family members and other third parties cannot come into discussion as the facts of the case are reported in the media. "

LE and FBI are probably controlling what the Mother may say to the press. That is normal.
They can't and don't control what is said to the press. They strongly discourage it sometimes, but they also tell you it's your choice. I know from experience.

http://www.wral.com/volunteers-asked-to-help-in-search-for-missing-girl-friday/17151951/

Authorities said there will a volunteer search on Friday morning for those who want to help in the effort to find the girl. Anyone who is interested in assisting in the search is asked to arrive at the Dawson Community Church, at 2311 Dawson Cabin Road, in Jacksonville, on Friday between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Volunteers were urged to wear close-toed shoes and to bring their own water.

During a news conference on Thursday afternoon, authorities made a plea for continued help from the public.

"I am so grateful for the outpouring of support from our wonderful community," said Onslow County Sheriff Hans Miller.

Miller said Mariah's family was "cooperating" with investigators.

Stanley Meador, a FBI supervisor, said agents at Marine Corps Base Quantico, outside Washington, D.C., are currently testing "items of interest" in this case. He did not elaborate on what those items were, or where they were found.

Oh God......When I read that Mariah’s brother allegedly was beaten (by the live in BF) with a BELT resulting in bruises.....I truly wanted to vomit at the thought of these poor, defenseless, innocent kids being subjected to this mistreatment by their mom’s LIVE-IN BF!! Dear God - how can a mother allow her BF to mistreat her kids like this?

It brought back horrific memories of my childhood and my mother’s allowance of it......my older brothers were beaten with a BELT over and over and I witnessed their EVERY beating by “my loving Catholic father”, allowed by “my loving Catholic mother” when we were young. I will never EVER forget the horrific abuse we all endured, but mostly by my brothers. I myself was raped by a neighbor but that is another story. I am sickened that this abuse still takes place in this day and age.

How awful for Mariah and her brothers. I have no idea of what else these poor kids experienced but I am so sorry for all they endured. Oh God I just want to sit down and cry at the thought of it all. It has taken me 50 years to overcome the hell we lived in. I pray for Mariah’s well being (but I know that is asking too much at this point) along with her brothers. Tears for all the hell they have lived thru.

God will deal with the horrible monsters among us who harm his precious babies. I am so sad over this awful, awful happening. Oh how I hurt for these poor kids. My heart bleeds.

OMG, Blondie, I am so sorry you had to live with all the abuse and then sexual assault. I am happy you were able to overcome.
All us survivors need to stick together and support each other...

"You read the stories, you watch the movies but you don't ever think it's going to hit home", said Mariah's great aunt Sue Rogers. "It seems so unreal to believe this. She was a wonderful blue-eyed, sandy brown-haired, loving, caring child."

One identifiable feature about Mariah family members said might help people locate her is her limp.

"She did have a limp", said Watkins. "Her and her brother both had a disorder where they limped. They both wore braces. Mariah did not wear them at all times, and she could walk without them, but she did have a very distinct limp. She would walk four or five steps and then fall."

In this article Kristy's family speaks only of Mariah in the past tense. No mention of seeing her on Thanksgiving. This is also the first time that her brother has been mentioned having a "disorder."
If Mariah could only walk a few steps and then fall-she couldn't have walked very far. IMO ...

Thank you for an excellent message. The beginning of your message has me very concerned. If you are personally aware of deaths, in the past, etc., then I urge you to report them to the Sheriff that you have confidence in. Bless you.

There was no option not to report. I cared for them as they took their last breaths....LE was at the bedside. Sorry to make you think i just knew of them but didn’t report. Often CPS was there too...in dismay at what they were seeing. There were skull fractures in infants that were given back to the parents. Sad.

How is this known? Is this an assumption made since her pajamas were on the floor?
It was in the missing description, what she was wearing.

Another sunrise in North Carolina. I wonder if the volunteer search is getting organized.......

I got that feeling too. For that matter both parents have talked a lot about their feelings but neither has expressed much concern for Mariah's well-being. IOW, is she cold, hungry, scared, does she have a warm blanket to protect her? That kind of stuff. It smacks of selfishness IMO.
I think the father has. In one interview he talked about her personality and how she didn't deserve this and then he broke down. Often, we can speak about our anger, but not about our fear and sadness directly without breaking down into a crying mess. I think that's what's happening here with him. Every time he begins to speak directly about his little girl and what she may have suffered it takes him to a place that emotionally overwhelms him. That would be hard to do on camera.
