In the link provided a page or two back, the clip on FB is not the same broadcast as what is on HLN tonight. Based on the two it appears AW may have given it to WCTI and then HLN got it from them. If true, AW is not listening to the police advice and makes me wonder if he does not have a victims advocate advising him. Moo

Those were last year, the recent CPS reports stated that one of the boys was punched in the face, causing a nose bleed, on the 26th? (AB referenced it as the day before Mariah disappeared, but it could have been the day of, IMO). Also reported that EK beat the boys with belts and mom allowed EK to discipline the children. Regarding behavior, there was a picture of EK and his daughter and Mariah surfacing that made me shiver, now I know why.

Which incident are you talking about? The first one that we knew about was re the bruises on one of the boys and an excuse of falling out of the bunk bed was given and the case was resolved. Things escalated after that I am assuming. I imagine that the Mariah was never taken to the dr for well child chk ups so signs of any abuse would be noticed. Mariah didn't go to preschool, I do not think, so no one would really notice any strange behavior either.

If that is the case then someone provided it to WCTI first. The were the ones who in turn gave it to HLN.

There was a mod note a couple of pages back to the effect of, the mom isn't a named POI (at this time) and that we can discuss the new reports but unless her status changes the mom is still considered a victim by the TOS of the forum, and that we should bear that in mind in our discussion of the topic.

It would probably be best if someone brought that mod note forward instead of my lousy attempts to paraphrase.

We aren’t allowed to discuss it. I’ve been good about not saying it at all, but was responding to someone who couldn’t understand why so many people were against dad- so I replied that some of us are against for reasons we can’t discuss.

So I'm listening to NG pod cast right now and the GF of the dad is on there. The GF is saying that KW's dad told a friend of the Dad/GF where Mariah could be found. We originally thought that maybe EK confessed but I'm thinking now that this friend of Dad/GF told the police what KW dad told him & that's why EK was arrested and why knew where to find Mariah bc apparently KW dad knew where to find Mariah.

I think I blame both.

There is no harm in self-imposed responsibility, integrity and exercising choice over protecting two innocent living children. I don't see how anyone anywhere benefits from learning this information, except future caregivers of the children, and serving justice.

Especially where it appears regulations are lacking.

Maybe the mother and boyfriend are trying to accuse one of the brothers of murdering MW. Because the boyfriend has only been charged, so far, with concealing her body. That could be a reason why the documents were released to the public.

CPS reports are confidential. Reporters would have to file the state equivalent of a FOIA (which would be denied since this involves minor children) for the reports. It is easier to get this evidence during trial because they're introduced into the court record and you have a stronger case that they are public information that can be disclosed. Still, CPS reports are usually sealed even then to protect the minor children on the periphery of a case.

I'm wondering if the media knew someone on the inside of CPS and that may be how they obtained the report.
Which would explain why HLN didn't release how they obtained the report. IMO

Called a spade a spade. Props for him speaking the truth. If Mariah had been with him, she most likely would still be alive today!!

. Just to clarify - The cps report said the nose bleed incident happened on Nov 26, the day before she was reported missing.

BBM. So sad and hard to know how much are their own feelings vs. those imposed on them. I think there is so much more in the documents than what we are seeing, even this is just too much. Praying they are surrounded by adults who only have their best interest at heart.

The woman needs to be charged too if this information is correct. Hopefully the death penalty is a real possibility for him.
