Oh my gosh! I almost posted her as a possibility for his mother last month but decided not too because I thought they would automatically be matched if both were on NamUs.
Her husband (Myoung's) currently is serving a lengthy federal prison sentence for armed robbery and is not eligible for parole until 2037, Blackwood said.
Orange-Chatham District Attorney Jim Woodall said the husband won’t be identified until a decision about where he should be prosecuted is made. The victims were not killed in Orange County or Spartanburg, he said. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.newsobserver.com/news/local/article225508170.html
According to this article:
"The suspect is the boy's father. He's in prison and has been since the 1990s on an unrelated federal charge.
According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, he confessed to the murder of both victims within several months of each other in 1998."
So according to this article, sometime after May 1998 to December 1999 he got sent to prison. Suggesting he wasn't free for long after the murders.
Another article says he's in prison on armed robbery charges and not eligible for parole until 2037.
The last part of the sentence above: "he confessed to the murder of both victims within several months of each other in 1998."
Does it mean he confessed to each murder several months apart or that he killed them several months apart?
Wow another 2 identifications for 2019! This is amazing! 2019 is really going to be the year where some of our UIDs will have their names back and be once again reunited with their families.
Rest in Peace Bobby Whitt and Myong Hwa![]()
