No, but the neglect and abuse may explain some of the anger harbored by Travion. They keep talking about his brother's CPS records. I wonder if they even have any records about TS. Did anyone even care enough to report his neglect? I'm getting ahead of things, but child abuse and neglect is my hot button. It makes me want to scream, and it perpetuates things like further poverty and crime.

Of course it's not an excuse for murder.

When you look at the defendant there just doesn't seem to be anything there. He either doesn't care or just doesn't feel much.
