I just checked the Wake County Jails and she's still listed as an inmate - $1 million bond and charged with murder. I think they keep the list fairly current, so there it is, I guess.

It bothers me, too. I think it's a matter of respect -- for the victim and the victim's family/friends; the prosecutors; and yes, the defense; the jury; certainly the judge; and the respect I have for my home state. We see it everywhere. I wouldn't sit in the gallery dressed in some of the clothing I've seen witnesses wear. Yes, it bothers me.

Indeed boredom, this "casual" to sloppy attire has become norm. I've served on a bunch of juries during my long life. Always wore "Sunday best" which I considered to be court room appropriate. Last time I served was about three years ago. Really shocked at jurors' and witnesses' slovenly dress and grooming.
