This makes me so sad :(. My hope is that his family may be able to find it in them to allow his brain to be donated to a concussion research study.

So very sad, he had his whole life ahead of him. Yet another reminder what serious conditions concussions and depression are.

I am so sorry for Nathan's family and friends. Such a tragic loss.

I grew up just blocks from Christ Church in Charlotte. My friend group lost 3 friends in a house fire when we were all 18-19 years old; we went to three funerals in one day. I feel for the tremendous loss the family, friends and school community have suffered with the loss of Nathan. The acute pain recedes with time, but the loss is always there.
