Asheville police got a call Sunday afternoon about a suspicious vehicle on Eagles Nest Lane. Officers found the body of Patricia Patterson, 54, inside the vehicle.

Police said she died of blunt force trauma to the head and no gunshot wounds were found.

"Two detectives approached us and said, we're sorry to have to tell you the news this way, but we found your mom, murdered in the back of her car," said Nikki Patterson, the daughter of the victim...

"She didn't talk to people she didn't know. She didn't do anything that would get her in trouble," she said. "It's very bizarre"...

Investigators said Sunday they had no suspects, and did not believe there is any danger to the public.

BBM - That must mean they DO have a suspect, they're just not releasing it, right?

Otherwise if it was a random attack with no suspects, I would say there probably was a danger!
