Found Safe NC - PFC Kirsten Parness, 24, Fort Bragg military base, 17 Feb 2021

FORT BRAGG — Army officials are asking the public to be on the lookout for a soldier who was reported missing early Wednesday morning.

Pfc. Kirsten Parness, 24, was last seen at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday on Fort Bragg wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and cowboy boots, officials said.

Parness is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and a half-sleeve tattoo on her right forearm.

"We're hoping the public will be able to help, and that we'll be able to find her soon," said Lt. Col. Michael Burns, a spokesman for the 82nd Airborne Division.

Parness is part of the division's 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Parness was last seen at Reed Roof Inn 1902 Cedar Creek Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28312. Checked in under a male's name.
She left her vehicle and personal belongings in her barracks room on Fort Bragg NC.
Her phone is currently off and attempts to contact her have met with negative results.
Family and friends have stated they have not had contact with her and that she is quiet and likes to keep to herself.
