OMG, hang or not guilty.....really? Imma crying here, might have to use a crystal tactic here, lol, collapse on floor, go into myself, and wait for a lotta help to get up.

I'm on http://www.wildabouttrial.com/crystal-mangum-live-stream.html and the stream is alive with the pre-session blue screen with message. I prefer WAT because I don't have to continually click to keep the stream going.

Cherry, I guess I'm just a pure optimist. I hope the jury does the right thing for this very dangerous person.

ETA: Feel better soonest! The flu stinks big time.

We got court action

I'm waiting to hear the closing arguments. I think the domestic violence in her past will bite her this time.

Fingers crossed. A couple of the knives showed broken blades or handles. She could have stopped but got another knife. Premeditated.

Egads she washed her hair; it's about time. I'm sorry but this def for the most part has looked quite skanky in appearance to me. At times hair unwashed and when the photos of her were shown in court and they were like "turn over your hands" I was like
Run; don't wanna think about her toes at this point. Just mindless dribble; from a fever mind at the moment. PIFFLE!

Charge conference; regarding changes to juror instructions...any further corrections objections etc etc etc

Do we have any gamblers here? Wanna bet the jury comes back with a verdict within four hours?

I'm too sooperstitious to do that...I always get that way just before (or during the whole thing sometimes) it goes to the jury. I don't wanna tempt fate. But I think you're pretty close to what possibly, could, might, may, perhaps, occur. Crossing fingers.

:seeya: And Good Morning Peeps!!! :seeya::loveyou:

And one more thang, as we begin...

The defense attorney has conducted himself, IMO, as they all should... Just seriously doing his job without being an azz about it. I think you can defend someone as he has -- respectful of the PT, the jury, the witnesses and the Judge. Kudos to him.

Same here! I made the fatal mistake of believing that the MacNeill jury would take days to come to a verdict and went to sleep! Missed all the drama.

I sure hope WRAL keeps the live stream up and running during deliberations. It's too bad they don't have someone tweeting about it (that I can find). I'm lousy at Twitter (have all of 2 tweets). Anyone have a feed on Twitter?

The defense attorney just asked the jury to consider that the defense does not know what the State may argue but to keep that in mind? That the defense doesn't have to argue all points?

I'm confused. What was that supposed to mean to the jury.

also can try mercury chrome or skyfire browsers under Apple Apps, most are free. I used to use a skyfire but can't find the free app right now. It's 4.99 and I don't pay for apps.

Closing's def atty up first.

Indeed, another very civil trial. Don't need a circus.

Agree totally. I feel for the man. IMO Crystal is a mess of a client. Why she took the stand is beyond me.

Oh no I hope he isn't a 'you know' kind of speaker.

Cute how he blew off the prior violence act. Have a feeling the State won't.
