Winter storm Diego hit NC - Charlotte area had several inches of snow/sleet/wintry mix with low in the 20s tonight. I hope Sam is safe somewhere.

The second picture of Sam is concerning with the pinpoint pupils and red eyes.

Sam’s mom posted this to the “Find Sam Davis” FB page five hours ago:

“IMPORTANT UPDATE! IMPORTANT UPDATE!
I just got off the phone with the police. This information IS NOT official and will not be for another few weeks. The police feel the remains found in Mooresville are very likely NOT Sam. This will be confirmed when the forensic anthropologist has finished the examination. I can not give any further information at this time. I am beyond relieved.”

In an earlier post, Sam's Mom stated she became aware he was using Heroin after he went missing. Heroin, hydrocodone, morphine, and fentanyl all can cause pinpoint pupils as he displayed in the photo. Praying his loving Mom gets some closure soon.

My heart is with the family of the person's remains which were found.

They belong to someone who was loved and who has been greatly missed by a family.

Missing Man's Remains Found

CMPD says a 911 caller reported the discovery Thursday afternoon in a wooded area off Hucks Road in north Charlotte. Police say they are awaiting positive identification, but they believe they are the remains of Sam Davis, who was reported missing in the area last July 3.
