Also, bugging me, is why Sheniya's last name is Davis:waitasec:, especially if she only had limited contact with the mother?
The other children have the last name Lockhart. It is painfully obvious from all the pictures of this beautiful child, how well taken care of she was, how she exhibited the privileges of being well-groomed and loved by her father and his family, which is such a startling contrast to the element in which her mother lived. The difference in these two worlds, had to produce resentment, from this mother, who was working two jobs, and living with her sister in a trailer. This envy would also would explain a huge disconnect from the mother to Sheniya, and why I feel she should never have been left in that enviroment without supervised visits.

That is exactly what I think, The feces is a sign of a mortified child, and monster mom telling the aunt she will never see her was also all telling. she knew Shnaiya would tell about her 3 weeks at Mom's house of horrors.. I think that last night the kid got really sick, that is why they got a mule to take the kid to a hotel, but no perp met them there, perps do not go to hotels, The baby may have been having some breathing troubles that scared them and they must have planned a way to get rid of the evidence in he trailer. the mule must have been told step by step what to do.

What I do not understand is; the baby was not gone long enough to be so decomposed that they were not able to ID her immediately. Maybe one of the Legal or Medical eagles can explain that part to me. Thank you in advance.

Respectfully bolded by me. Songline, I'm not sure of this but I strongly suspect this was handled in the way it was in order to preserve as much evidence inside, as well as outside, of Shaniya. The faster they get her to the morgue, the better their chances are of avoiding further contamination and preserving whatever insect buildup that ensued. Maggots would have set in already, but I agree that her body should have been identifiable. Maybe they worded it the way they did to help those who love her grieve without them seeing her in that state of decomposition. IOW, she was already used & abused, the world now pretty much knows that, and that's hard enough for the dad to deal with. For him or someone else that loved her have to go and identify her body after they just found out her mother pimped her out would sort of seem uncaring to me, especially if they can just prove who she is by dna evidence. Maybe I'm wrong, but I sure hope that's the reason. and I hope they find mounds of evidence to each and every perp that touched her!

Shaniya Davis was alive when she left a Sanford motel, Fayetteville police said this morning in a news release.

Additional charges are expected today in the death of the 5-year-old child whose body was found in a wooded area off Walker Road in Lee County just before 1 p.m. on Monday, the release said.

In this video the searcher says the "we were told the man admitted to killing her and dumping her body by the deer carcasses and trash".... the only man that could be is McNeil, right?

I disagree. He's THE guy. He probably started off very uncooperative....but eventually said something.

They knew exactly where to look because the killer gave up that info. I believe the perp is MAM

The problem with your theory is that there are pictures of Shaniya at the hotel and she doesn't appear to have any significant injuries that would lead to her death.

Praying hard today for the ME, LE, and SA, as they go through this difficult investigation. God give them strength and peace, and show them the evidence they need to find so that we can find out what happened to this precious angel, Shaniya, and she can receive the justice she deserves.

How many children does dad have? Why doesn't the daughter on NG live with him? Who and where is the mom? She said her brother called her at school to tell her about Shaniya missing. Does the brother have the same dad?

Who was Shaniyas' legal guardian? School had the aunt listed.

Hi wife died and his kids live with grandma. that was my understanding.
Shnaiya was the youngest and from a one night stand.

...According to the surveillance tape, Shaniya was with McNeill at the Comfort Suites hotel on Bragg Street in Sanford at 6:11 a.m. Chance said today that police know that McNeill left the hotel with Shaniya at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. She said police don't know what condition Shaniya was in at that time.

My guess is that if they have video of him entering the hotel/motel with her in his arms at 6:11 AM then they more than likely have video of him exiting at 7:30 AM.

Either they are refusing to comment on her condition in that second video or they could not see Shaniya clearly (meaning that her face was obscured by a blanket etc...)

I do think it is important that LE has stated that they know MAM and Shaniya left the hotel at 7:30 AM.

Just my two cents.
