At the bottom of that article, it seems to insinuate that maybe someone else gave Shanaiya to the perp. someone else who was living at the house. :waitasec:

If there is any merit in this claim then, why was not another person arrested as well?
Who would it be? her boyfriend? her sister?

Right. I think her defense is implying that AD's sister is the culprit. So what else is new, they will throw anyone under the bus to defend their client.

I can sure see both scenarios though. If they don't have a problem with harming their kids for pleasure, I doubt it was the first time.

I have a feeling that Shaniya was used more than once to pay a debt or to buy drugs. I can barely think about it. I think that last few weeks was hell on earth for that child. :-(

I agree totaly an I would love to discuss it, but not here, they cant arrest all, but they cant blame all for one incident, AND JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED... Baby is dead and he did it and she gave her to him.) I hope the Perp gets to tell his side - he may want to negotiate for LWOP that is how monster Mom will stay behind bars.
She is not sitting in jail because she is covering for her sister NO WAY!!!

You know, that is one of the things that has just slayed me- and continues to, and will never NOT.

OMG!! I had no idea that this picture/film was taken AFTER he had taken her into the hotel room!!! Are we sure that this was after he had done whatever it was that he did?? This just really shatters me to the bone. OMG!

There was another person initially arrested.

I am kind of.. well... let's just say I have very strong feelings about this- so I probably can't contribute in any sort of non-biased way- but I feel that the idea here is that Shaniya was sexually abused by more persons than MAM- and if that's the case, then accurate identification of any other individuals involved is really important.

Oriah, I've had that thought from the beginning....as I have posted here before, several things with the Caylee case and this case are just kinda similar, and I have always wondered if both little girls were at least photographed for online ..... probably decent money in it for someone supplying the "model." Just a nagging thought...

Imvho, he ain't in the lobby. It's not a huge hotel, and the security cams are at specific locations. I can't see it being any other way- but I sure hope I'm wrong.

Oh I totally agree that she was likely abused at the residence also. I'm sorry- the released still shot from the surveillance camera (the one where MAM is looking up) is the lobby. Sorry to confuse, Kim.

I guess what I was trying to say, is that I think it's pretty likely that LE checked a bunch of other cameras.

She has a little itty bitty pumpkin growing. It is the most perfect little pumpkin you could imagine- literally. Going to try and get the pic up here this weekend.
Don't know if I should pick it and give it to a child for halloween, or let it keep growing.

I followed Shaniya's case at the very beginning - right through hoping she was going to be found alive, the video, then when they found her precious little body. It was the most intense moments I have ever experienced on WS - and then to find out what had happened to her...

I had to take a break from not just Shaniya's case but also from WS for awhile after that. I've been back since, sleuthing other cases, but had to stay away from this one a little longer. Although I have been following the headlines, etc.

At one point, I had considered attending the trial. Not sure if I can arrange to be there, or if I could hold in my anger. But justice needs to be done for this sweet little angel.

Her case has by far touched me like no other on here. That sweet little girl in the hands of pure evil... :cry:

I think this particular pumpkin has been watered by a whole bunch of tears of heartbreak- and kindness. And that's probably why it's so perfect.

Absolutely, I do agree. The only other person who was arrested was her boyfriend, (the new baby daddy) but he was released. The sister lived there too. correct me if I am mistakin.
