It seems we are getting so many stories. Perhaps, I'm mistaken but Carey Lockhart seems to be changing some stories too. ?? :waitasec:

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/local/story/1060102.html

I'm not talking about the dates here, just the story.

Then we have Carey speaking of not wanting Shaniya to live with AD. Aunt Carey didn't trust AD. That's what I gathered. anyway.

http://www.charlotteobserver.com/551/story/1060292.html

I also saw her say this, on a video.

Lastly, she seems to keep quiet about these feelings on the Oprah interview.

I'm not trying to bad mouth her or anyone else for that matter. I know Aunt Carey had no say in anything legally. I guess what I am trying to figure out is why do things seem so amiss, something isn't adding up. :waitasec:

Just like the Anthony case, these dates are critical to the investigation. I think LE is not done interviewing Brad/Carey to go over all the dates.

I can think of no where in mixed company where "one night stand" would have a positive connotation unless speaking about the limited engagement date of a comedian, for example. No matter what the culture, those words together can't find a place in Good Community Standards 101.

Now, when the guys get together and BS, the accepted meaning of that term changes in most cases, imho.

I wish BL had not used that word "one-night-stand." It sounds so coarse and cheap.

Which I think was the intention.

The brainiac Mom left the kid in an unattended car :hand:
In NC the news about Shaniya must be a daily thing on raido, or the paper or both.
This mom is fast asleep....
O/T: I saw that and wanted to cry. Poor kid, I almost don't know which situation he was better off in.

You mean the 9th vs 31st? I haven't seen Carey say or be quoted as anything other than the 9th, but I could have missed it... From what I've seen, she's been so consistent about the 9th, I attributed that 31st thing as a typo.

But heck, maybe not... Is there a reason we can think of that she'd want to deceive anyone about those dates?

If I'm ever involved in a big, tragic, controversial, life-changing case, please do me a big favor, and remind me I have the right to remain silent, and not say a word to the media!

I agree with you Southerner, something isn't adding up.

It just seems to me, that if all these people were telling the truth, the stories wouldn't keep changing.

I don't know what to think about all this.
They need more investigators...:waitasec:
Like I said yesterday Carie is no Queen Bee....NO, NO...
she is her brothers keeper....

Can you tell us what part/s you see as conflicting? I can't seem to so far...

I do agree that she seems to be holding back on some things, as though she's trying not to air dirty laundry, maybe.

Well, I think the biggest flag is thrown up by the Charlotte observer news article saying that Aunt Carey recieved a phone call from AD saying she would never see Shayia again. Of course we really don't know the validity of that article. If that is really true, it changes this whole situation. It's odd to go from that point of view to Aunt Carey still dropping her off with 2 days worth of clothes. I saw Aunt Carey say that on video. Then to the point of basicly being able to sit there with BL on Oprah as he speaks of giving Shanyia back to her mother. I understand the not wanting to air dirty laundry? My big question is did BL give Shaniya to AD or did AD kinda just run off with shaniya like the Charlotte Observer says? :banghead:

This is what I have been mulling over. There are a plethora of reasons that BL might want to fudge the dates, and AD picked one, she has to stick to it. And there's photographic and forensic evidence, so it doesn't matter what MAM says, he's hung.
I can't come up with a reason for any of the others to deceive on the timeline. Not Coe, or Carey, or any of the people around BL that seem to be talking to the media.
I guess BD (the aunt) and her mother would be trying to save themselves from possible charges...but why the others?

Just bad blood, or are all of them really that non-credible?
I've got to go find links for the changing dates, so if anyone is looking for something specific, let me know and I'll look for it too.

One Problem one will lie and the other one will swear by it....

I agree and IMO I think that it was stated as such by BL to minimize the seriousness/severity of his having had a sexual encounter with AD. Perhaps due to his religous beliefs, sex outside of marriage = sin...??

I'm telling you,it's time to start charging these parents with child neglect, parents need to get the point and stop leaving kids alone inside or outside, anytime, ever.Last week that five year old boy was on the trampoline outside in yard, not too far from where Somer was taken,he was found alive about six hours later in the woods. The Mom said he was chasing the dog and dog was never found. If she had been charged with negligence, she might get the point and he wouldn't be in endangered again.KWIM

Dates, angry phone conversation with AD (you'll never see child again), only weekend stay, dates they last spoke with Shaniya, date removed from school, etc.

IMO - The 31st wasn't a typo - it went along with a story that painted Lockhart's as good/AD bad. I think it was a case of the guilts and maybe just given to the media/not LE. I'm not blaming, but I hope they haven't given LE any runaround stories. LE needs the truth and I hope they are hearing a consistent version of events.

I agree the dates are important too. I was just trying to put them aside for the moment to look at the statements.

I do understand why they need 20 investigators. Heck, I'm confused, myself.

It would probably be easy to find out if it was just for two days, because of what all was gone from Shaniya's bedroom at her Dad's.If the bedroom had alot of things missing for Shaniya to go live with the Mom,then the two day thing wouldn't be true. How much of Shaniya's things were in that MH,because I doubt the mother had money to buy her anything,so most of what was hers, probably came from her Dad's house.

It all boils down to what the MOTHER let happen. Not the before..Not the what if's.

Shaniya's Mother let this happen to her daughter. In all actuality she doesn't even deserve the title as Mother.

I can understand pointing fingers.I have...BUT in reality I blame Antionette...AND MOST OF ALL.... the foul funk that murdered her.

It just pisses me right off.

I also wonder why Aunt Carrie would have only sent her with 2 days worth of clothes if Shaniya was really moving in with her mom? You'd have to think Carey would have sent more than that??
