I don't think what happened started that night either. I think it started the last time she walked into the trailer, right after Carey dropped her off, and continued up until her murder.
Exactly! And I also think it was ok with everyone there. MOO

Tomorrow is my birthday..and I just wanted to say thank you all, for the great reading, interesting theories, deep concern, boiling anger, tears and joys that you all express.
It is a pleasure being part of WS and I hope this Thanksgiving was a great one for everyone.
God Bless the little children, they need someone to watch over them,as I fear some parents are not.
God Bless our country,we need someone to watch over our leaders decisions to keep our country safe.
God Bless you and may you have an abundant year.
Happy Birthday to me....
Happy Birthday and many many more!!

I still think Coe might be the possible exception to this.
Someone using too many "herbal remedies" is easy to slide things past, as long as it's not done right in front them. MOO.

And I do see some shock in some of his interviews after he was released. I think he realized something funky was going on, but not what exactly.

Happy B-day nostoneunturned.

I can't do big flashy graphics, but I can mean it a lot and say it in little type.

You may be right, but he'd have to be pretty oblivious. I'm thinking more of his comments that "educated people" were supposed to figure out which makes me think he knew something. MOO

I too, think he did realize ..... and I think he did know enough, but I am not sure it was
shock in the interview... it was more like :waitasec: oh chit how do I answer that?

My name is Janet and I am new here but I have been reading all the posts and links on this case and have been watching about it on the news. There is a question I have that I haven't seen covered here. In the photos of Mario carrying Shaniya to the elevator, what is the black and white checkered item that it looks like Shaniya is carrying? Also, what is the white item that she is either wearing under her night shirt or that she is covered with? I couldn't see these things clearly enough to make out what they were.

I know we have touched on the suicide topic with MAM but mental evaluation process is worth noting JMO
This might of been posted not sure
http://www.examiner.com/x-17800-Ral...aleighs-Central-Prison-inmates-commit-suicide

Mario McNeill sits in a safekeeping cell in Raleigh's Central Prison on suicide watch, and there is a good reason. Suicide watch on high-profile cases surrounding murder charges, or any other serious crime, is a cautious measure that must be applied. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
So, if Mario McNeill does not commit suicide, should he be worried about other inmates murdering him?xxxxxxxxxx

Mental evaluations can last approximately 30 days for those who enter on murder charges and within that process suicide watch may continue depending upon the inmate and situation of their mental state.
As for Mario McNeill's suicide watch and safekeeping cell, Raleigh's Central Prison is simply doing what it can to assure that Mario McNeill faces the full extent of his actions according to state law.

Hi, Janet!

I've tried to figure out the checkerboard item...I'm not sure that Shaniya was holding it...could it be a stuffed toy/animal of some sort?

Welcome!

Hi Janet..welcome
Don't you wish they would release a pic that that is clear..or enlarged.. geez I really can't see how releasing that info would hurt the case.

Hi Jan, and welcome from another Michigander!!

Hi Jan...

:Welcome-12-june:

Good question bout the "black and white" checkered item...we all discussed that a lot when the pictures were first out, not sure that we ever had a real "answer"...
also speculation that the other white item was a diaper? or a towel??

any new insights on that?? thanks

Since everyone is "sleuthing" may I suggest some of you "sleuth" ALL the Byron C's. Just so you know ......many states and criminal cases! Oops.

I think that even if the mother had been hooking she would have kept on doing it and still sold little Shaniya. Think how much some well to do old creep would be willing to pay for a beautiful little five year old girl. The more the mother made the more drugs she could buy.

I don't know if the mother was hooking but I do believe that she was into the drugs. She would have had to have been in order to sell that little girl to adult men. No one in their right mind could do that knowing the damage it would do to a five year old mentally, emotionally and physically.

I just wonder what that mother thought would happen when Shaniya was brought back home all torn and ripped up down below? Did she plan to take her to a hospital..I doubt it. Did she think Shaniya wouldn't say anything to anyone? I just wonder if she knew that Shaniya wouldn't be coming back home alive? I'm beginning to think she did.

A pretty common name. This young man is in college at the moment. He does speak of forgiveness after you have gotten in trouble or committed a crime but he is only 20 yrs and seems to be a good kid with a good head on his shoulders.

Birth dates don't lie. Criminal records are criminal records. Applies to one and all or is it is BL that is to be bashed/sleuthed? Just asking?
