arrest the mom... arrest the whole town... but where is the baby???????

Maybe they have her!!! Maybe that's why they have been so quiet. I bet "mom" led them to her.

:praying::praying::praying:
Please Lord, bring this baby home.

JMO but I think they found Shaniya first and now the news about the mom's arrest.

I'm sure it's been talked about over and over, but the blanket really raises my hinky meter. For those who have 5 year olds (mine is 12 now) -- I don't remember him pooping on a blanket at that age. He was fully potty trained at that time. Girls usually (IMHO) train younger. Many of my hunches come to fruition - and my first hunch was FEAR. This little girl was so scared as to what was happening to her that she released her bowels. What happened after that, I don't know -- only that someone put the blanket in neighbors trash. Which is also very strange to me. Why not wash it? Will they find other DNA on that blanket?

Thanks,

Mel
That scares me also ~ what might be found on the blanket. Or they just didn't wash it because they thought she wouldn't be needing to use it again. MOO

their first needless arrest gives me pauses... makes me doubt... and all I want to hear is that they have found this child... nothing else.

I think this is a stip closer to finding the child. This is important info IMO.
If she planned this, she knows where Shaniya is.

I don't think bio-mom is MIA, especially after this alert:

http://www.wral.com/

Fayetteville Police say they expect to arrest Antoinette Nicole Davis in the disappearance of her 5 year old girl.

May this bring us some answers!

I think so too. I hope we are right. I hope they found a live Shaniya and will announce that and arrest at one presser.

Is the amber alert still up on her?

I sitting on pins here.

More sleepless nights for us, eh? I pray they find her alive -- I won't be able to sleep until then.

After watching the video again of McNeill being arrained in court I do not feel like this man has hurt this child. As soon as he walks in to the court room and sees the media cameras on him his whole stance changes, almost as if he is going to cry, and defiatley embaressed by the whole prediciment.
His face does not show hate, malice, or any indication to me that he did anything horrible to this child or dropped her with someone of bad intentions. I just see no alarm in this man...

It's funny that you had that impression about McNeill when he walked in because for me, it was the complete opposite. Like I said in an earlier post, he was smirking in his mugshot and he was smirking throughout 99% of that TV coverage. Nevertheless, I really hope that he hasn't hurt that baby. She needs to be returned home to her father, the one that clearly loves her.

My impression of McNeill when he was walking into the court room:

I'm having a hard time decifering his actions/thoughts but it looked like he had a big smirk until he saw the camera in the court room, then he looked like he felt awkward.

I can't even begin to guess what anyone who would steal a child/be involved in a childs kidnapping/hurting a child/etc would be thinking.

He did look nervous during his hearing, but is he nervous because he's innocent, or because he's afraid of his life as he knows it is over forever, or because of something in between?
