All great questions Just K. I wish you would send these questions to our local news reporters. LOL! I would like to know the answers.

In the beginning, word on the street was that the segway was found somewhere it would be expected to be found. I initially thought it was most likely found at Husk but after viewing google maps IMO it could have been found at Mott Landscaping at 5 Queen St. It's a straight shot from Shannon's home at 210 S 5th AVE. 6 blocks south so I wonder if Bradley lured her there after she returned home from the bar.
Feel free to send the Questions to the local News. I just don't want the questions to link back to my actual profile.

This case scares me. I'm not sure he and/or a partner isn't/aren't responsible or involved in many murders.

Here's One More Question:
Any word or how they assimilated him back into society and when and if he was out on limited supervised release?

Don't know how he was assimilated back into society, but according to his criminal records he is out on parole until 2/10/2018. So he is being supervised to some extent.

That really just blows me away. Why would Mott even say something like this? Does anyone know what the laws are in NC for hiring someone with a police record? Do they have the question on most job applications out there asking if you have any convictions on your record? Is the employer allowed to say they aren't going to hire someone because of said record? In Wisconsin where I am at, they CAN tell you they aren't hiring because of your record IF it has something to do with your job directly. So if you were convicted of theft of money, they can say we aren't going to hire you as a cashier. Just curious about that. Thanks!

All is IMO....

Employer here.

NC is a right to work state. My applications all have a portion where you check if you committed felony or not and sign. I background check everyone. But, all my employees are key holders and they all have a possibility of entering a customers home either for install or for a follow up down the road or warranty issue.

I do not hire anyone w/o a valid NC drivers license, because there are company vehicles.

Honestly, it is hard to find employees with a fairly clean record. I don't expect spotless. But no murderers, rapists, serial did not appears, etc.

I have told people they were not being hired because of their record. But they consent to the check in the first place.

Diff subject, everyone worried about your family members, please don't. The majority of crime in our area is in crime specific areas and is limited to gangs. They usually just kill each other.

I have been searching and searching and I just can not find the link where I read this, so take it with a grain of salt. I SWEAR I had read that his intro back into society was him being released on weekends to do what he wanted. I would guess this was with close supervision but after he was fully released,IMO he then went right back to his life of violence. I think he has something to do with both Shannon and Elisha. MOO. How else would they have named Bradley as her killer without any actual evidence? (Besides her body) Also, does anybody remember HOW Shannon was identified at first? I thought I read one of two things. I might be mixing cases together because I am following so many right now. I thought I saw that either the family identified her or that her tattoo' and placement of them is what identified her. Or maybe they didn't say anything at all and I am just losing my mind. (Totally likely :floorlaugh: )

TIA whoever can answer my questions!! And all is MOO since I can't find the link!!

This case is driving me crazy too. So many twists and turns that I can't keep them straight. I thought I read something about the conditions of his release too, but I can't find it now. There are some bits of information in some of the articles about the state's Structured Sentencing Act and a mandatory parole period of 90 days. I wonder if what you and I previously read was more details about that 90 period. Here is one of the articles that mentions it. http://portcitydaily.com/2014/04/30...-of-missing-woman-man-charged-with-her-death/

I can't answer about Shannon's tattoos but Elisha had two according to this link. A heart on her stomach and a chinese symbol on her neck. I assume it was on the back of her neck since it isn't shown in the photo.

Okay. Let me get this straight. He lived at a different address than his current one sometime between when he was released and Tuesday. But he must have worked for the same company since he used the company's land to bury the body. So where did he live? And Elisha has been missing since when exactly? August 2013?

Here is an FB page for Elisha. It appears that someone created it for her. Something really jumped out at me. In the photos, it appears there is a large stack of mulch behind a pic of Elisha.

Good find, but wouldn't it be weird for a professional landscaper to use bagged mulch?

But it does look like she has been working outside, so you might be right!!

I read where someone else said that about a family member's murderer on the Shannon FB page.

The correctional center where he was staying during his work release is located about two miles from where Elisha was said to "hang out." That might be why his neighbor said police mentioned a woman disappearing near his former residence.

Also, the article notes that he had been working for the company for about a year. So he was already working there when Elisha disappeared.

Does she have a thread?

I searched and she apparently doesn't have a thread of her own her at WS.

Thanks guys for answering my questions. Just some really strange stuff that I have never come across in any other cases before. Has anyone here ever had experience following a case where they identified and then said whoops, not the right person?? I would think, at least for the moment, that the police owe her family a big "sorry about that!" Very odd indeed! :moo:

It looks like there is renewed interest in finding Elisha. Her mother posted a comment on Facebook saying that she did an interview for a news station a few hours ago.

This predator was turned loose on the residents. I don't get the fact that his crime was so bad, yet he got out of prison like an everyday Joe. Did he have anybody he had to report to for a certain period? Then this Mott found some cheap labor and decided it was ok to put him to work. The whole chain of events sickens me. I told my sister I had hired a lawn care company to do some yard work. Since I had a very bad experience with this a few years ago, and a guy was arrested, she said she hoped I had researched him. I said I had, and she said well you don't know about the ones he brings with him or the ones he sends there when he can't come. This case is an example of what she said.
There are actual tax incentive programs in NC for employers hiring felons.
