The case against Quentin Neal, 28, had been scheduled to go to trial April 22, but a series of legal motions and what Neal's attorney called "new developments" leading up to that date ultimately resulted in a Milwaukee County Circuit Judge's decision to adjourn the trial for now.

Quentin Neal, 28, was sentenced in Milwaukee County Circuit Court to two concurrent terms of life in prison. He pleaded guilty two days earlier to a pair of first-degree homicide charges tied to the death of Shannon Mani and her unborn child in April 2018.
