I don't know which is better - that there was a ski-mask wearing couple or this is another false story. Probably neither. I think my head is going to explode!

I'm thinking it was a carjacking since LE has the make, model and tag. I doubt a frightened mom would be able to get all that info. But why was the car abandoned just hours later (we don't have the incident time yet but the car was found around 6:30 EST).

If they didn't want the car then they wanted the baby. How did they know an infant was in the car?

There was that horrible case where I believe his mama went to store late at night and her car was taken and found pretty quick. Maybe next day so not as quick and infant was found in backseat murdered by the “gangster” that car jacked mamas car.
I really feel bad I don’t remember his name. Was unique I think and started with a K. I think. Was so horrible.

This a very well to do neighborhood in Asheville!

The car has been located. Was it the mom's car or the kidnapper's car? The only thing missing is the baby and the two ski masked kidnappers. Uh huh.

Ashville is Buncombe County and the car was found in Henderson County.

The vagueness of whether or not this was a car jacking is really bothering me. She would have told the story differently than how it’s being told to us. Of course the writers could be extrapolating in ways that aren’t helpful but... “kidnapping in the park” feels very different than “carjackers stole car with a baby inside”

Definitely not an area where most kidnappers would look to kidnap a baby unless ransom? They may have been riding around in their car looking for a victim. Saw one (parked their car and walked to where victim was...in ski masks?), forced her out of her car and kidnapped infant. Drove mom's car to where their car was parked, left mom's car and took off in theirs with infant. I might add, this doesn't make sense, any way you look at it. We don't have all the story, obviously?

One hardly ever hears of a ransom anymore. It's too easy for criminals to get caught these days....in these cases, IMO
