This particular shooter seems disturbed, likely from combat. It is indeed scary, and also sad, that random violence against strangers happens at all, let alone regularly.

This guy was a walking, talking, red flag. Totally out of his mind.

North Carolina has no red flag law though, and sadly, he’s the poster child for something like that.

OMG, I and my family were supposed to eat dinner and then go to the American Fish Company for drinks and to hear the band. Due to the weather coming in, we postponed the trip for later on this month. I followed this since it hit YouTube last night. I love this place. Long ago it was a fish house where fish were unloaded right off the boats. You could buy fresh seafood there. Now, it's a neat little bar (not a restaurant) with wide open seating right on the water. You can sit there and watch the boats come in and the dolphins play. This location was the bar used in the movie Safe Haven. All my family have called to see if I was there. I feel very lucky and heartbroken for the families.

Thank you. It's been very shocking. My daughters and sister were trying to contact me half the night. I forgot that I had the "Do not disturb" on my phone. I was watching this unfold on YouTube. People at the bar knew the boater and he was caught loading his boat. I was also listening to the police scanner.

I don't know. But, here is one of the court documents of his. He names his parents as defendants & has a footnote saying, "Exhibits attached to the complaint suggest defendants William DeBevoise and Sandra DeBevoise executed a birth certificate identifying plaintiff as “Sean William DeBevoise.”

defendants “William and Sandra DeBevoise are LGBQT White Supremacist Pedophiles directly
responsible for” a variety of wrongs including: “Falsifying Birth Certificate for a feral child,”
“kidnapping and drugging (Involuntary Intoxication) (with growth hormone as a child) the plaintiff
for their monetary gain in the film industry,” and “Attempting to turn the plaintiff into a ‘Home
Grown Terrorist (Slander)’.” (Id. at 2-3). Additionally, the complaint alleges defendant officer
McCormick “escorted [plaintiff] to people’s houses to install fans, that in LGBQT language were
all fans of pedophilia developed by the Clarkstown Police Department working with Epstein.” (Id.
at 3).

He alleges a false birth certificate.

So my guess is that in his mental distress and disillusions, he changed his name because he feels his parents are part of a bigger conspiracy against him. MOO.

Under the heading “Federal Bureau of Investigation,” plaintiff alleges, inter alia, “As
observed on my false birth certificate I was born in Suffern NY which Translates to a U.S. Firm
for NE, the plaintiff is a NE,” “the Plaintiff is still being trafficked by corrupt authorities taking
bribes,” and “These wrongdoings are obvious once LGBQT language is discovered and motive
uncovered.” (Id. at 4).
