God Bless this family:

A decorated Green Beret, Chief Warrant Officer Edward Cantrell, special forces paratrooper who served six tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, jumped from the second-story of his burning home, wrapped himself in a blanket and ran back inside in an attempt to save his two young daughters.

Firefighters recovered his body on the second floor of his Hope Mills NC home, near remains of 6-year-old Isabella and 4-year-old Natalia. His wife, another person & the family dog survived.

All gave some and some gave all.

Chief Warrant Officer Edward Cantrell is the embodiment of hero; it would just be so much better if he were here with his family today.

RIP, Edward Cantrell...a true hero in life as in death
