I'm just gonna post this WRAL News link w/out looking to see if it's been posted here already -- not that it's that earth-shattering, since we're already wa-ay-ay-ay beyond that in this case -- it just is a fairly new article. I haven't even read it. No video.

So what do we think, is Helen Reyes going to be called to testify that 'she approved of physical punishment of her child', since that was stated in defense opening statements?

I just watched Kelli O'Hara's (WTVD - Raleigh, NC reporter) report on WTVD's 4 pm news via live feed. I assume it will be posted on WTVD's site later.

Pictures of some of the evidence shown in the video report including the shed and inside of the shed.

Kelli said court resume tomorrow at 10 a.m.; in an earlier tweet, Kelli tweeted 10:30 a.m. I guess it really does not matter since this trial is not being "live" streamed.

Great job, yes, that's how I remembered it from some news shots shortly after the crime. It was extremely close to the main house. Middle of summertime. How did the grandparents not know Helen Reyes and her daughter were living in that shed with JR? Where did HR use the bathroom, bathe? JR used the grandparents bathroom to shower. I saw that somewhere when this first happened.

It seems to me the mother will be called to testify. Not calling her would leave too many questions in the jurors' minds, IMO. But then, if she's going to have her own trial, maybe she won't be needed in this case. Anyone have ideas on this?

I believe the <modsnip>grandparents need to testify as well.

I read it in an article long ago.

Maybe someone here has an article regarding the violation of her family care plan readily available and can post it.

Here are a couple of articles I found -- note: These are not new articles about Reyes, but they are info on what the FCP is, what's required, and help on how to arrange it.

So far, I have not been able to find anything on Reyes and her FCP or lack of it, but still looking.

I can not figure out if that is the shed that shows up on google maps or not.
It does not look like it has tree cover, so it HAS to be, right?
I mean on google maps only one other building seems to be showing besides the main house (that can be seen, no clue what is under the tree tops).

Video shows heinous living conditions inside the shed where a four year old girl spent the final days of her life.

A snippet of the outside of the shed is shown in Linked video.

This happened in mid July, 2010. Things would have been green and if deciduous shrubs and trees, they certainly would have leafed out by July.

Perhaps since then some of the shrubs have been cut back, cut down or pruned and in the pictures that Landonsmom posted up-thread, it appears there are deciduous trees and shrubs there.

Feel so bad for this jury. Watched and followed many trials..this has to be one of the worst for a jury. Hope they all have access to some therapy after the trial. I was on a jury for a murder trial..what I saw cannot compare to what this jury is seeing and I still have nightmares.

And yes, that shed seems to be very close to the house. Hmmm, what did he do to keep her quiet -- unless his g'parents were both out of their house at the same time he was, and that would be risky, seems to me. Anyway, he got away with it. Maybe she was just too hurt or sleepy or too scared to do anything "wrong." I don't even want to think about what he may have done to keep her quiet. My heart aches again. Oh, my.

Well, peeps, let's take another look at something else -- possibly JR's next "shed."

WTVD got a rare look at the Death Row area of Central Prison in Raleigh -- again, maybe the future for Jonathan Richardson...

There's nothing graphic in this video, but it does show a vacant death chamber. And, as others have already said, the Chamber there at Central hasn't been used since 2006.

If my research is accurate, the last time the DP was used in NC was in 2006 when 4 men were put to death between January and August of that year. The State of NC and the prison system decided to change some of the procedures having to do with executions, and a resolution has been achieved. The current governor wants to resume executions asap, so we'll see what happens.

At the present time, there are 151 persons on DR, 2 of them women. The newest addition is Mario McNeill the convicted murderer of 6 y/o Shaniya Davis.

Per the Linked article below, there were no prior CPS investigations regarding Teghan. Teghan and her mother lived with Jonathan Richardson 4 weeks prior to her leaving for New Mexico.

And yes, that shed seems to be very close to the house. Hmmm, what did he do to keep her quiet -- unless his g'parents were both out of their house at the same time he was, and that would be risky, seems to me. Anyway, he got away with it. Maybe she was just too hurt or sleepy or too scared to do anything "wrong." I don't even want to think about what he may have done to keep her quiet. My heart aches again. Oh, my.

Yesterday the prosecution presented evidence which included duct tape with hair stuck to it. Sadly, I think they are claiming that he taped her mouth shut. He also forced her to consume alcohol so, perhaps, her senses were dulled as well.

I can not figure out if that is the shed that shows up on google maps or not.
It does not look like it has tree cover, so it HAS to be, right?
I mean on google maps only one other building seems to be showing besides the main house (that can be seen, no clue what is under the tree tops).

Well there were 3 other buildings on the property besides the shed. From google maps it's hard to really see the shed because it is covered by trees. But I think the satellite pic is from summer of 2012? I say this because when I pulled up my home, it was clearly an old one. It didn't have our trampoline pictured and my kids got that Christmas of 2012. So in the summer the trees are in full bloom and it makes it difficult to see.

Going back to the other buldings, there were 2 brown small buildings like where you would keep gardening tools. One you can kind of see in the picture I took. The other one is located to the left of the home near the edge of the property. One there was one more large building located way back to the left of the home. Very far away from the home and it looked like a garage/shop bulding?
