Since 11 I think? It probably took the most time to pick a foreperson. Because really, what other question was there?!?

jury went back 11 am, took about 15 minutes to select foreperson and one hour of deliberations

First emotion he has shown. What a pig. No emotion hearing about all the heinous things he did to that little girl... just emotion because now HIS life will be taken. I can't even say the things I WANT to say about him!

Gotta be some kind of record.
Less than an hour and a half to elect foreperson, go through charges, AGREE on charges, and get back into courtroom.
I wish I was flush with cash (OK SUPER RICH!), I would pay for every one of those jurors to have a 2 week vacation anywhere of their choice!

Jury to report at 1:30 tomorrow, penalty phase. One defense witness out of state for the rest of the week. That witness not available till Monday, judge has a seminar in Chapel Hill. Court will recess on Thursday be back on Friday. 1:30 tomorrow sentencing phase begins.
