< I did a little searching, and coincidentally there's a man with the same name charged with murder of a woman out of Jacksonville, NC. I googled the victim's name, and coincidentally, there is another woman on model mayhem with the same name (unrelated, but its a unique name). Anyway, I don't think this is the same guy, as he was still awaiting trial in 2012....looking to make sure he wasn't released for some reason, but I doubt it as I came across an article stating that he confessed.>

Something seems "off" to me too, especially on the two Google + profiles. They almost seem like two different people. The way she posted the phone numbers - is she directing the posts to a specific person or asking strangers to call her? There are some comments about her being single and some suggestive photos.

On a side note, she was last seen on Memorial Day. Don't know if that is relevant, but interesting to note. Was she headed to a party?

Also, fwiw, I noticed there is a post from way back saying she was going to the beach.

Considering the latest fb post, I'm guessing/hoping there will be a break soon re: the person with whom she was allegedly living, and establishing the identity of the woman with whom she left. jmo

The Lincoln County Sheriff&#8217;s Office is asking for the public&#8217;s help with finding a local woman they say was last seen nearly two weeks ago.

Apparently the info that Nikki left with a woman in a black car came from the person her family suspects is responsible for her disappearance, so this woman in a black car may not even exist.

She has a court date coming up on June 25 for a misdemeanor drug-related charge. The related mugshot is sad. I hope the poor girl is found and gets the help she needs.

This case is here where I live....it is being shared locally.

It's a small world. I have family that lives near Cat Square in Vale.

I'll bring up this case to them and see if they might can shed any light on anything.

I respectfully disagree. IF, IF, IF she was online, I think the person posting was trying to give her a reality check--that there are people who love and care about her, not to mention kids who love and depend on her, who need her to come home. I'm sure the poster knows the missing woman and the issues much better than we do, and it may be a wake up call. MOO.

Edited to add that I hope the rumor is true, because the alternative does not look good. I truly hope that she is alive somewhere.

Sadly, and I hate to admit this, up until I saw the below article, I had forgotten about Ms. Rice. All these missing women...sometimes it's like a blur after seeing on after the other and so on...

Deputies remain on the hunt for a missing Vale woman who was last seen leaving her residence in May, the Lincoln County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said. Toasha Nicole Rice, 27, has been missing since May 26, when family told deputies they spotted her leaving her residence on Eaker Road in Cherryville. She was driving a black, four-door vehicle at the time, deputies said.

So wait, I thought she was just seen in a black car with another female. So Ms. Rice was driving the black car? Hmmm. Interesting.

Just here because someone wanted to take a look at "Nikki's facebook and case.

Anyone that wants to dig around please let me know. I'm combing through her FB which everyone should go read NOW. Her aunt is stating the account has been hijacked and that Nikki isn't really online when it shows that she is. A lot of family dynamics and issues are being stated.


I have reached out to her Aunt to help privately and also mentioned this website. I was told through someone in an outreach service to look at the FB group for missing persons'. I came here to start a thread but this existed so I'm contributing. I believe her Aunt is the only one actively looking for her and getting the word out. I don't want her to feel alone or that no one else cares. We are a group of people here who want to do nothing more than to help and bring missing loved ones home. Hopefully she will join and become verified so we can get an idea of Nikki's life right before she went missing.

Anything that's personally shared with me I am going to keep off of here because Nikki does have young children and if she's in the industry - I don't know that the family wants or needs that known. Unless I get the OK to post about it, I feel discretion is a must. Sometimes people get pointed out to me because they are on our radar for other reasons, I don't know why she was pointed to the outreach I'm affiliated with but I will find out I'm sure.
