Found Deceased NC - Tristan Blue, 2, Raleigh, 22 Dec 2014 *Arrests*

  • #161
WRAL reporting remains have been found in North Raleigh with his photo. No positive ID yet, but the way its reported it seems someone told the PD where to find him.

Fly high Tristan. What can we do to make this stop?

It's about 25 miles from the apartments: https://goo.gl/maps/ZeE5Z

The article says they wouldn't confirm when the remains were found, so maybe it was even before the parents were charged. It sounds like they're pretty sure, but who knows.

This defendant will prolly have more on the docket in a day or two, I assume. Notice it is in District Court which means it is for things other than murder trials, etc. Those trials -- the Real Thing -- are held in Superior Court.

Caught up reading, and now I'm angry with these parents, too. I appreciate all the posters here following this tragedy keeping me updated.

That must be the mother on the 911 call sounding rehearsed and non-emotional. Gee, I read a fb comment where she was much more upset about a car repair. Now it's being said she left Tristan alone a week to go to work. What?!! Then, all that strange activity with the moving stuff and boxes after Thanksgiving. Whatever happened was definitely being covered up by both of the parents, IMO. Does LE know if Tristan was alive the week she was leaving him alone to go to work?

Precious little boy, Tristan, almost three, now gone. I'm sad, and so angry at these parents.

I listened to the 911 call again. I had a hard time discerning between the dispatcher and BD. She was that calm!

I'm wondering if that was really her affect, or if LE may have had any reason to modulate the voice. I know, I'm reaching here. It was absolutely striking to me how similar they sounded. I mean, what are the odds? I listened on my headset. Maybe it's just my (incorrect) interpretation.

I hope so, because she sounds like she has ice water running through her veins. The 911 dispatcher is supposed to maintain a calm and cool demeanor in order to obtain information from upset panicked citizens in their time of need - especially a "mother" who just discovered her 2 year old son is missing!

What I heard was a calm exchange of information between two barely discernible different voices. My cognitive dissonance cup runneth over.

HinkyMeter redlining.

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

We should be hearing from the M.E. fairly soon. They can perform an autopsy in 4--5 hours, not including a tox report which must be done by other professionals -- and we do need to see the tox report, just in case, but it will take a couple of weeks. Unless the OCME (Office of the Chief Medical Examiner) is loaded-up with emergency autopsies, I would think that we would have something by this time tomorrow-ish. Maybe earlier...

On another note: Did Steven Blue leave the house to go to work? Did he work? Do we know? Or did I just miss another piece of this frustrating horror?

All the neighbors seem aware and concerned. The neighbors seem nice. I'd think, if they needed a babysitter for Tristan, many of those neighbors would've helped watch him. I get the feeling the couple didn't have good relationships with family, nor many friends. What kind of jobs did they have? I wonder if their relationship was falling apart after Thanksgiving. Stories like this during the holidays are especially sad and haunting.

What will the autopsy show? Probably something that will make me cry for Tristan.

oh no

This is going to sound harsh, but it is meant in a loving way.

If little Tristan is truly gone, if his father truly loved him, and if he did it, please let the act have been swift and quick. Small mercies, please.

Oh my. My heart just aches.

But he is happy and surrounded by a love that we cannot imagine. Yes, he is.

I just don't know anymore. 3 kids stories I was following they all ended up dead before Christmas due to abuse, negligence and just plain EVIL. I just don't know if there's anything good anymore.

This is just too much. I just...I don't know.

Hugs to everyone in this thread.

I hope the ME will give us a date and time of death.

I wish in every state that a parent could relinquish their child at any time, any age and not be held liable for them. Like the safe haven act, only no age limit.
I know foster parents are in high demand with not enough of them and orphanages don't seem like the answer either but for the love of all children, I wish this would happen. Give those children a chance. Give them a hopefully better life than they have. Give them hope and a future. Give them a real family full of love and laughter.
Then maybe our world will become a better place.

JMO

ETA: (Don't throw stones at me) I also would like to see Medicaid (what we call it in my state) start paying to have males that want it within a certain income to be snipped. They used to give (and probably still do) tubal ligations to women on it.

When was the last time anyone other than the "parents" saw Tristan? Has that been reported?

  • #174
Has it been cofirmed? This thread shows found deceased and moved to to awaiting trial?? Am confused.

I have not seen confirmation of him being found. The remains that were found have yet to be publicly identified.

As far as I know nothing has been confirmed.

I still don't understand the parents work schedules. Mom apparently works the night shift. And may have left TB alone every night while she worked. So where was the father during the nights?

I too am confused on where this thread is now located. I couldn't find it under "Missing Forum" or "Located Forum." The only way I found it was to search for it by Tristan's name. What's the easier way to find where this thread is now?
Thanks in advance.

it is now under "currently awaiting Trial' section.

Another way to keep track is to go to your own forum posts, by clicking on your name.
