Charley project links the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division as a source. It also appears they have a PDF flyer on their site. I cannot get it to download however. I wonder why they are involved. The FAQ on their website states
What are the types of crimes CID investigates?
CID Special Agents primarily investigate felony-level crime across the Army and provide investigative support to field commanders. They conduct a wide variety of investigations to include deaths, sexual assault, armed robbery, procurement fraud, computer crimes, counter-drug operations and war crimes. CID agents also provide counter-terrorism support, criminal intelligence support, force protection, forensic laboratory investigative support, and protective services for key Department of Defense and senior Army leadership.
Is it possible they are involved simply because she is missing from an army base?

I assume that's the reason. On the U.S Army website, they list her branch of service as ''Civilian'' so I suspect she might have been a spouse of a Solider stationed at Fort Bragg. Sadly, I can find no additional information on her. I wonder if the rest of her family are still in Panama.

I was looking at this and found something strange. Records say she was in NC in 2007? But the record regarding Fort Bragg gives a different DOB?

I believe the top DOB is correct. I wouldn't read too much into the residence date. My guess is that they marked her as living there in 2007 because it was her last known address.
