Zahra and Kiesha cases have allot of familiar things.
Wonder if EB followed that case on her computer and did some copy catting.

how old was she at the birth of her first child?and how old is that child?
I am thinking she is more like 50's????
She is very young to have a grandchild as old as Zahra (in photo's???).

hoping also that LE checked every house/business that AB worked in the last 2 weeks!!!!

I know we determined back who knows how many threads that her daughter BS is 21 the other 2 children im not sure. From his education id say DP is older than that.JMO I have no idea about the other daughter.

I was 15 when my first was born and 32 when I became a grandma so its very possible.

excellent point about searching his landscaping job sites!

I think LE has been checking every house, business, pebble, body of water, you name it everywhere.

Okay, It's getting late here now too so bare with me, but an 'out there' theory came to me today .One that I can bounce off your post, cause it's even whackier than yours!

Re: SM poisoning Zahra...what if she did poison or drug Zahra, and convinced an already depressed and brainwashed AB into believing that Zahra's cancer had returned? And that this was the. end.
And he decided to let his daughter go. No more hospital visits, no more treatments, no more loss of hair , hearing or limbs, just peace?

Then if he saw bruising, Zahra being sick, losing weight, etc it would just look like a natural cancer death to him.

**********************

Or a variant on this theory: that she convinced him Zahra was dying and they both participated in what was a mercy killing for AB , so Zahra didn't have to suffer a long painful death , and a murder on EB's part to get more attention for herself.

No rotten tomatos please....peeps were asking for some new ideas a few pages back lol.

ETA:
Another thing I want to bring up before I log out and fall waaaay behind again is the comment on AB's brothers myspace page from SM back in Feb.

The one where she says something about planning on post marking letters that Zahra had written to them that week.... And them missing Zahra and Zahra missing them. ( fam in oz)

Is it familiar to anyone to use the term "post mark" instead of just 'post'? As in.... "I'll try to post the letters out this week"?

If not, does post-mark imply you want a date established for say, I dunno, a pre-meditated murder?:waitasec:

Or could she just mean she's posting the letters to a person called Mark? Doubt it, but throwing in it for good measure.

And I just wonder why, if SM could message the fam on MS, why couldn't Zahra do that herself instead of writing letters? Was she not allowed to use the 'puter to have some outside contact? To feel closer to her family back in Oz in real time whenever and how often she wanted to? To have some freedom....especially if she was inside their various houses, rather than playing outside most of the time.

I wonder if the family ever recieved those letters?

*********
I wonder if Zahra ever felt proud that she'd been a 'good girl' for Daddy and SM by covering any signs of abuse with authorities so they wouldn't get into trouble?
I wish she knew she was a good girl....a perfect girl.....so brave, so strong.... a hero, who didn't need to protect those who weren't protecting her.

PS and OT: Proof that not all Aussies use as few words/ syllables as possible LOL...I'm sooooo long winded....sorry.:blushing:...and I've still got about another 5 theories!!!!
I don't call myself butwhatif? for no reason!!

ETA screenshot of comment:

You've got me on the "postmark" thing....it screams alibi to me but then again I'm suspicious....it sounds like it could be an Aussie expression possibly. I'm thinking that letter writing was the only safe method of communication that EB could allow for Z....no internet....this way she could screen any interraction poor Z had with anyone outside of that house.

Also Friday, Elisa Baker's attorney Scott Reilly confirmed to the Observer that the Department of Social Services had received and investigated allegations that Zahra had been abused. But investigators, he said, did not substantiate complaints against his client.

Reilly declined to discuss the allegations but said some people have "embellished, exaggerated or made up" stories of abuse.

Family and acquaintances have repeatedly said they saw Zahra with black eyes and bruises. They have also said they reported suspected abuse to DSS on several occasions.

I don't think it's embellished or exaggerated or made up that no one seems to know exactly when Zahra was last seen. It's obviously been weeks. Zahra was not registered for school. Lots more things we know I could list but I won't rehash it.

I realize the lawyer has a responsibility to defend this woman. But as far as her being emotional & upset when she was put into jail ... I think her only concerns were missing her drugs & not being able to call all the shots for a change. She certainly wasn't upset over our dear, sweet, missing Zahra.

I know we don't have all the facts yet. I watched the father's interviews. I'm not buying it. To have made the decisions he did not just for his life but for Zahra's too ... even if he is sincere, it's too little too late. Much too late.

ButWhatIf?,

I was thinking mercy killing (or AB made to think it was a mercy killing) also... But I didn't have the who-who's to actually post it...

I am definitely still unable to say just how involved I think AB is. I do think he knows more than he is letting on. His responses to questions don't seem to be coming naturally. He is hesitant, putting too much thought into his answers, possibly thinking "does this sound suspicious?", or "is this what I said last time?"

If (and this is a big IF, being that he had such a hard time answering) he is being truthful about the last time he saw Zahra, then that leaves 3 DAYS for whatever took place until he realized she wasn't there. That's just hard for me to swallow.

I just don't understand how these two..how shall I say this and be politically correct...well let us just say they aren't mental giants, IMO, can have done something to Zarha and leave basically NO clues for the LE to follow. That child did not simply disappear. I know the LE holds back a lot of information, but they haven't a clue to where Zarah is. I am sure they are doing every thing they can to find her, but really...jumping all over the place searching here and there and finding a whole lot of nothing. :( It's just mind boggling. She needs to be found and be back with the people who loved her, her family in Oz.
This is just MOO, of course.

She looks defeated her smile is gone, there is no sparkle in her eyes ...... this is so sad for such a lovely, strong child who has endured so much and now this. Her innocence is gone, her spirit has been dulled, her life turned to horror. I hate to say this but if she is dead, she would have been better off losing the battle with the cancer.

I will always hope that she is found alive until otherwise confirmed.

It is a very sad looking photo, but I will say, having just had my passport photo done, they do tell you not to smile or show teeth ... you should see mine .. :snooty:

I guess that could be possible but in 23 years I've never seen hearing aides resold- they are normally refurbished or donated- never seen them sold on the street.

(Cochlear implants include over the hear aides along with the magnetic transmitter)

Not on the street. eBay (and people too sketchy to have a seller account on eBay themselves will have no trouble going through an agent), Craigslist, perhaps occasionally pawnshops. Do an eBay search with the "Used" filter selected. I did last night. Lots of used hearing aids, many inexpensive, but a few with 4 figure price tags.

I agree with you, I don't believe they are mental giants either. I don't think they burned her body or anything else with equipment at this point. I think SM did something and the father may have helped dispose of the body, still not sure of what he 'really knows'. IMO, I think they most likely just took her someone and buried her. It is going to be extremely difficult to find her now without some trail of where they went to do this, which could be basically anywhere secluded in the area. JMO though.

Burial takes too much time and effort and too much of a chance of being seen. I'm still very curious of the landfill and that dumpster behind the resturant LE took the other day. Much easier to put her in that dumpster in the early morning hours right before pick-up KWIM? When was the last time that dumpster was picked up?

I can see that point of view also. Not sure when the dumpster was picked up, locals any info? But I just can't see them throwing her out in the garbage because so many bodies are found this way. I don't think they would want her found because they had to have known the story of how they treated this little girl was going to come out. Better hidden to avoid what caused her death and disappearance. JMO though.:twocents:

I wish LE would check out more of the ponds in the area. I have no link here, but I once read here on WS that female perps are more likely to dispose of their young in the water, as opposed to males who are more inclined to bury. I also read once that if a body is wrapped, then it indicates the perp is someone who is familiar and has feelings for the victim. But whose to say with this case and this (unusual) step mom. Nothing is making any sense. I am sure that LE is as frustrated as we are, God love 'em.

Where's Zahra?

MOO

There's a difference to between digging a whole and burying someone and covering someone with dirt/debris/etc making a mound of sorts. I don't see them "burying" her either, but I can see them covering her up. KWIM?
