Goodnight, Cleo! I hope your sweet little granddaughter feels better soon. :)

I am gonna hit the sack, too...I think I was sleep-typing the last couple of posts!

I believe it is possible for someone to manipulate the "right" person to the maximum, I guess even to ignore that manipulator abusing their child. I also can see how some men do have that "let the woman raise the youngsters" and the man earn the living thing. But I can't buy AB's dumb act, or friendly manner to pleasantly wiggle out of his responsibility to be aware of the welfare of his handicapped daughter.

Also, there's the very real possibility that they may have very much feared retribution from EB if they said anything to AB.

yes and they all seem terrified of her so they kept quiet

I fell asleep at the computer and had a dream. Now I know in my heart what LE should do while they have EB in jail. Forgive me if this sounds crazy but I'm half awake.

First, EB does not seem like the kind of person who can keep her mouth shut. And, (MOO) I feel like she is probably threatened by those who are better then her in anyway. So she is extremely competitive and has to be best at the wrong things. Take cancer for instance.

So I think LE should put a women inside the cell with EB as another prisoner. I think this person should be pretty, tough as nails and have a big fat charge, like a crime against her own child or husband. Then have this woman yap about it to EB with claims that if she ever told she would hurt EB. So EB knows the woman is not a snitch.

You gotta know if that happened EB would be flapping her lips faster then a Monte Carlo about all the rotten things she did to Z and possibly how she made her disappear, to be "better" or "one up" the other girl.

I know this is childish and ridiculous but look who we are talking about here? I am surprised she kept her mouth shut this long. No, I'm shocked. Which tells me she hasn't had anyone to talk to except people she feels can get her into more trouble. Not another prisoner. She needs someone she can trust in that prison who she thinks can't get her in trouble. It would be great if that person had big charges of their own and a rambling mouth that makes her seem better then EB in all the wrong things. :croc:

Well, it wouldn't be the first time a jailhouse snitch cracked a case wide open...the Manson murders spring to mind! Good thought, I hope they try it.

  • #586
Yes, EB needs a new friend to talk to. Good idea, MandyLeigh. You want to go in with her? I'm skeered.

Just went a search around the net for people doing statement analysis on this case and found some very interesting interpretations on the 911 call. Back off fence and down on the side of AB being involved. Think I'll stay here for a bit, I'm pretty sure I'm in the right spot. Poor Zahra, this child needs justice.

I think that is an absolutely fantastic idea. It would have to be someone who could control themselves and not beat the snot out of her.

Evening WS,

I haven't forgotten about Zahra, I've just been occasionally checking in for updates without posting.

The latest search of the 'tip' (or landfill as per US terminology) is extremely interesting. One one hand I'm pleased with the latest search development, on the other, so saddened that people resort to such things. Whatever they're looking for, it really highlights what SM and AB thought of little Zahra - trash/rubbish.

Sometimes I need to step away and realise there is a seedy side to life - i.e SM & AB. No matter what eventuates, AB is equally guilty ... the 911 call and his daughter's apparent moodiness is beyond words, so disgusting. In Australian words 'what a bloody unit'. :furious:

Just speculation and idea tossing. This post is just the opportunity for me to brainstorm outloud. Forgive me if it is mentioned, I can't keep up. The pictures of Zahra in front of the white sheet, could she be trying to make passports to flee with Zahra to London with her new "friend" she had been talking to for the last year? Zahra brought her much attention when she needed it. Something went wrong. Zahra is now missing.

Zahra could of been recieving SSI checks in America due to some conditions being automatic eligable for households with limited income? If she didn't tell she could keep the checks. But what if it was time for a Medical Review for Social Security? Investigators may have asked questions regarding Zahra's medical care and condition that would include school reports and specialists. They may even show up at her home due to flags on the account/child case. Opps. She didn't have any current records? Medicaid card not being utilized lately? Big trouble for her then right?

Adam Baker has said that it is possible Elisa Baker was involved in his daughter's disappearance.

Bellas didn't spell out the nature of Elisa Baker's new online relationship. But Fairchild identified the London man her mother was communicating with as Kara Fullman, and said the man has sent Baker $10,000 over the past year until very recently. She didn't describe why the man would send her mother money.

This woman seems to be very bad news. I wonder who else she has scammed along her way?? I also wonder how long AB knows this woman and if he's seen any outbursts...JMHO

Where is Zahra??

IIRC, the way the reporter wrote the article regarding Elisa's visitors; one of the visitors either looks like Adam or something like that. It appeared to me that the reporter wasn't really sure who it was. If I find the link, I will post it.

I make a MISTAKE in the way I remembered the article. It was "what appears to be a son-in-law" ... Please excuse my "senior moment".

Baker's attorney Scott Reilly says he was hoping for fairness, not a bond hearing becoming an evidentiary hearing.
"Never happens,” Reilly said.
This is why he says it did.
"Because there are cameras and because this case is getting a lot of attention. No other reason,” Reilly said.

Well I suppose it is possible he visited her and didn't speak with her. Also just because he went to the gaol doesn't mean he visited her either.

Except it does say that the records show he was a "visitor" to her.
