The Brittany I am talking about is the "druggie" ...
Thanks! I wonder what made them decide to arrest him at 3 in the morning?

BB claimed a lot of things in the beginning. When the smoke cleared, she admitted to her own drug issues and admitted that neither she nor her mother had called anyone regarding those claims she made.
She did indicate that she'd discussed it with EB's daughter BS and that BS had called. Still not sure if that is truthful.
So the only three people that we know of who may have called DSS were BS, a former neighbor who also had EB charged with threats, and the school.

Authorities said Monday morning that a missing 10-year-old girl's father had been charged and was being held in jail.
Adam Baker, the father of Zahra Baker, was not charged with allegations related to her disappearance, unlike Zahra's stepmother, who is being held on an obstruction of justice charge related to the search for Zahra.
Adam Baker, who first reported his daughter missing in a 911 call Oct. 9, was charged with 5 counts of worthless checks and 5 counts of failing to appear in court. He is being held in the Catawba County Jail on a $7,000 bond.
The charges against Baker came after authorties said Friday that they had completed their search of a Caldwell County landfill and that they had been looking for a specific mattress associated with the missing 10-year-old girl, Zahra Baker.

What could the communicating threats & assault with deadly wheapon be for?
Adam and Elisa Baker were arrested for communicating threats against their family members too.
They were arrested on May 22, 2010 and charged with communicating threats against Elisas niece Brittany Bentley, her fiancé Zackery Tyler and the couples 7-month-old daughter. The threats stemmed from an outstanding debt Bentley owed them, according to the arrest warrant.
He (Adam Baker) chased me and my fiancée. He literally tried to run us off the road twice, wrote Tyler in the complaint accompanying the warrant. He got in the opposite lane, swerved at the drivers side and we had to swerve to keep from getting hit, then he passed us and slammed his brakes. We had to slam our brakes and still almost hit him.
The couple went home and gave Baker the money she was owed, but she demanded more. She and Adam threatened the couple with Tasers, according to the arrest warrant.
They said they would kill me and Brittany Bentley and that they knew where our daughter was and they would kill her if I didnt pay her, Tyler wrote.

could the charges have been made to keep him in the states? ((insurance))
Why charge him now? Why not last week? There has to be a reason... I will look for the article where LE said they were waiting for the appropriate time to arrest him for his outstanding charges. Maybe they got everything out of him that they were able to???
Where is Zahra?
