I just hope they find this little girl. TODAY.

Also from the map posted if you search arround on the sat image you will find a dirt road that lead to a trash pile where it looks as if people dump their old mattresses. I would post a pic if the map didnt kill my interent and make it impossible look at maps.

I recall Elisa using, actually struggling saying the 21 21st Street northwest as the address in the fire 911 call, what address did Adam use when he made his 911 call regarding Zahra?

Found it; he used 21 21st Avenue Northwest.

Confirmed time of ARREST/booking ( 3:12 AM ) per Hickory Police Dept. Site:

http://www.hickorypd.net/p2c/Summary_Disclaimer.aspx

see snapshot attachment of brief details[/QUOTE

Ok, so if this is the "arrest" time, which it may be as this is the police site, not the jail site and the choices are "arrest, accident, or incident". Then the location shows as being 347 2nd Ave., which is the police station. This would mean that the arrest took place at the station and not at the airport. If it had taken place at the airport, then that address would be listed as the location.

Could it be that LE met AB at the airport and asked him to come to the station to provide more 'assistance' with the investigation (again, maybe feeling that the location would provide a setting in which resistance would be unlikely), and, once they got him there, arrested him at that point?

I was in Hickory yesterday and drove by the Baker house. It is in a MUCH nicer neighborhood than I expected for people who seem to have the $$$ issues they do. There were 3 houses for sale close by and the price for those ran $205K thru $900K.

do you know where they use to live, and if so, could you drive by that house and notice if any abandon homes are near by or homes foreclosed that has been sitting there for a long time. I keep thinking that mattress with Z and maybe AB said the landfill to throw the cops off. *shrug* just guessing on my part.

Re: arrest time--he could have been brought to the station for questioning any time that morning or the previous evening, and only after/as a result of that questioning was he arrested, at 3:12 a.m.

(ETA: I post this because assuming he was at the airport for any possible reason, it opens the margin for our examination of incoming/outgoing flights considerably. He could have been taken in at 10 the previous night and questioned from 11 p.m. - 2 a.m. for example.)

Could AB be locked up for his own protection if they think something's about to break? Does that ever happen?

  • #469
Yes it's North of the airport and across the Lake.

Thank you. I wish I still had the link to the forensic astrology report I read a few weeks ago so I hope this doesn't quality as posting rumor. This forensic astrologist said she felt Z' body was north of the airport on government land or near a church. And that it is "underneath" which could mean water, dirt, piles of mulch, etc.

I'm just think it's interesting to see how much matches and to get the picture in my mind of where they are searching. Thank you again!

How do I mark that map and link here?

  • #471
why do we think he was at the airport, I thought the news outlet took that out. but a couple of other bloggers etc..ran with it...are we sure he was there?

OMG what happened guys? Where are they searching and why was the dad arrested?

AND OMG I was in McDonalds like 30 minutes ago and there was a little girl in there that reminded me of Zahara. Same haircut and age but I know it was not her because this little girl had two real legs. It just made me think of her though. :(

Zahra Baker's father arrested at airport
Peter Mitchell
October 26, 2010 - 2:59AM
"The father of missing 10-year-old Australian girl Zahra Baker has been arrested at a North Carolina airport.

Police in the Bakers' home town of Hickory, North Carolina, said they arrested Adam Baker at Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Monday morning, but do not believe he was trying to flee the state or the US.

We believe he was at the airport picking up relatives who were flying in from Australia," Hickory Police Department spokesperson Libby Grigg told AAP
."

Hello all--this is my first post. This case resonates with me, and I've been so inspired and impressed by the efforts of everyone on this site!

I was just thinking that perhaps LE chose to arrest AB at the airport because it is a very public place with a lot of security? If they feel or have reason to believe he is either a flight or suicide risk, it would be one of the best places to ensure that the arrest went smoothly, IMO.

BBM - You are absolutely right! Welcome KikiWanBaniki!

Sounds to me that he was in for questioning last night....he stopped cooperating....asked for the consulate or an attorney....and was arrested. Just like LE said....no warrants on his stuff as long as he cooperated. :twocents:

The Australian Associated Press account of the purported airport arrest has now been run by several Australian papers including the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

I do not know any of their old addresses, except the trailer park and apartments in Caldwell County. Do we have a timeframe with their addresses for the past 2 years?

FWIW It would be very easy for the donut maker (discussed on Friday) to see the back porch of the 21 Ave NW house.

I sure hope EB is shaking in her shoes after AB's arrest and the latest search area!

I would imagine the wheels are spinning furiously in her head right about now.
Of course, she'll be lawyered-up, and we can expect to hear nothing from her for the duration.
