Who lives at 1507 21st Avenue Northwest east, based on the address listed for Elisa on the "who's in jail" website?

ETA. I wrote Northwest when it should have been Northeast. So sorry for the confusion, if I confused anyone else.

The Australian Associated Press account of the purported airport arrest has now been run by several Australian papers including the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age.

I wonder if they got the story from WSOC, who later took the airport part out of their story? I think they were the first one to report the airport story, and then an hour or so later removed any wording about the arrest happening at the airport.

Hamster--thanks for thinking to post this before you read ahead. Wishing we had stickies for this case! This is one source for the 'airport arrest' story, which *may* have more weight due to the HPD spokesperson's quote therein. However, until we see an LE presser, we should treat airport arrest, and all possible reasons AB might have been there, if he was, as theories only. IMO, JMO, and TYVM!

Please pardon me if this version has already been posted. I'm still back on page 13 but wanted to put this up in the meantime:

Zahra Baker's father arrested at airport
Peter Mitchell
October 26, 2010 - 2:59AM
"The father of missing 10-year-old Australian girl Zahra Baker has been arrested at a North Carolina airport.

Police in the Bakers' home town of Hickory, North Carolina, said they arrested Adam Baker at Charlotte Douglas International Airport on Monday morning, but do not believe he was trying to flee the state or the US.

We believe he was at the airport picking up relatives who were flying in from Australia," Hickory Police Department spokesperson Libby Grigg told AAP."

Please forgive me if this has been discussed. I've been victim to the flu bug all weekend, and may have missed a post or two in trying to get caught up.

We've discussed whether or not Zahra was receiving proper (or any!) medical care after arriving in the US. This lead to speculation that her prosthesis may have been too small for her current height.

In reviewing pictures today, I came across this one again. I know it's not quite clear, but I think it shows the top of the prosthesis quite high up on her thigh. Then look at this picture. I believe that this is the same prosthesis, but you can see how much lower on the thigh it sits, and you can see that something must have happened to the "knee" area as it is now covered with tape.

I think that she definitely was being forced to use a prosthesis that was significantly too small for her and as a result only wore the leg when she had to. If you look at this picture, unless she's sitting in a *very* awkward manner, I don't think she's wearing it.

Here is a half-arsed map of where they are searching:

I stated back on page 5 or 6 of "Has the police thought about searching prior places that EB lived" and to search possibly abandon houses near by those residents.

Not sure. AAP did directly quote the official spokesperson for the Hickory Police Department, which I don't remember having been done in the WSOC report though it may have been. Then again, the spokesperson's name is widely available in other online reports about the case.

AAP had a direct quote from LE... (fwiw.... and the way the media has been in this case I guess the use of quotation marks don't mean much which is really sad)

EB's father isn't it?

I searched this address using the Catawba County GIS and the owner's name also shows an address listing in Taylorsville so I am assuming it is a rental.

I used NE in my search.

EB's father isn't it?

I did a google map search and don't see a house there.

It appears that it is 1507 21st Avenue NorthEAST that shows a home.

Could it be just a piece of land or does the record actually show a home of some sort at the address.

It shows a home as well as the land.

1 story home with 1175 sq ft. built in 1962

0.63 acre of land
