I, personally, don't see any correlations between Haleigh and Zahra other than possible drug use/sells and the arrests of AB and EB and RC and MC.

Dudley Shoals Road was closed to traffic for most of the afternoon Monday as the FBI and SBI worked with local investigators combing the woods for clues in the Zahra Baker case.

Monday's search focused on a short road running off Dudley Shoals Road in Granite Falls.

wonder if they are searching the short road on the textile side with the creek or on the wooded slope side. Or perhaps both.

I'm wondering if she came up with a story about how AB told her 'everything' then told LE where he 'told' her Zahra is, which prompted the arrest and search. I hope not however. I imagine she will do whatever it takes to put all the blame on AB, but knows once they do find Zahra that they will be able to put this on her. If her 'leads' don't work she can just say 'well that's what he told me'. It's also a great way of visiting more cruelty upon him.

Anyway as I said, I really hope not.

No matter what she says he did / knows - she has copped to writing a ransom note! Best we know at this time - that was all her!

I think the correlations being drawn are the fact that we have a missing girl presumed dead by LE and no clue as to where she went, what happened, followed by parents being arrested on unrelated charges.

I have thought this all along because the neighbors in the recent house had never seen Zahra. They lived there what, 6 weeks and no one ever saw this child. Not one single neighbor. Speaks loud and clear to me.

I heard them interview one of those neighbors that said they had never seen Zahra and he also said he had only seen EB once.
I do, however, believe it is a huge possibility that Z never lived there. If so I would hope the witnesses who saw her on the 25th were mistaken and not looking for 5 minutes on TV.

So, LE has let it be known since the beginning of this case that AB was not being charged for the check fraud, while he was assisting LE in their various searches. These charges are not a suprise.

So, why charge him NOW?

They are, after all, still searching.

Good point. IMHO the witness was relating what she believes she saw and not looking for 15 minutes. Otherwise we would have seen her making the circuit. Or did she, and I missed it? JMHO.
