okay, I have just spent the last ten minutes trying to play catch up from what I've missed since I last checked in.

I know about the arrest of AB and the hoopla regarding differing reports as to where and how that was effected.

I know about the search near the textile plant (bull shoals rd I think)

Anthing else I have missed? Have we confirmed the early speculation caused by FB that EB was taken from jail to this nearest search site or is this still uncomfirmed rumor?

Since there's been confusion and inaccuracy in some of the reporting, just wanted to give a local's perspective.

As far as trustworthiness of reporting goes, I believe Dave Faherty of WSOC-TV (Charlotte station) is top notch. If I'm not mistaken, he actually lives right there in Hickory (or somewhere very nearby -- he's covered that area of NC for many years).

I imagine he's got a pretty good "in" with the PD there. It's been my experience that he gives good, accurate information, so I have faith in his reporting.

As to his reports being converted to articles on the station's website, I don't have the same level of faith. But if Dave Faherty himself reports something, I think it's very trustworthy. JMO.

Gotta run to doggy day care but had to comment...on JVM they just showed AB's "frantic" moment on GMA...for the first time, I watched the officer w/ him, instead of AB...that officer's body language said to me...what many of us have said..."uh-huh"...riiiiightttt!

JMO, MOO, IMO...and all that!

ps - did anyone else catch that just now...or before?

Reporter said EB was taken to the site but from the video I couldn't tell if EB was in the burgundy SUV or not.

Stacy: We can speculate until the cows come home, didn't sound like a frantic father, now that she is out and in custody of LE at search site, LE might be pitting them against each other.

JVM: They are both charged with writing bad checks. They do bad things together. (missed part of that)

Tara: these 2 ppl have no impulse control. Who knows? dangerous etc...

JVM: tara says drugs may have been involved.

(TH?) we have family member buying drugs from EB. Husband dind't know?

TY Sherbie. That whole deabcle this morning with the WSOC wesite still has me fuming.

I try very hard to state when I read something in MSM and where I got my info. So the whole editting things out without a word got me really iritated as we have seen it too much lately on websites that are supposed to be reliable.

Thanks for making the distinction for me between the broadcaster/reporter and the website of WSOC.

Yep! He looked to the officer for assistance at some stage and the officer gave him nothing. I was always suspicious of him from this moment forwards.

Oh yes! We talked about that when the segment aired on GMA. The chief looked like he just didn't know what to do when AB had his emotional moment -- it was so awkward for him. Obviously, he did not feel it appropriate to pat him on the back or show any sort of support for him. That says something!

Ditto. I REALLY believe this is exactly what happened. Because if this was ANYTHING more than an "illusion" based arrest, the charges would have been FAR more extensive and bond would be right up there where EB's bond is...

ITA! This arrest was to put pressure on EB. Looks like it might have worked what with EB leaving her cell and going to a search site. At least I am hoping that is the scenario.

I find it hard to believe AB knws nothing but my feel has always been IF he has knowledge he was given it after whatever happened to Zahra had already happened.

I don't know, as I have said in previous posts, I have a really hard time deciding what feel I get from AB, I am worried some of the judgements being made are based on cultural differences, accent, manner of speech, etc.

He also strikes me as one of those still waters run deep sort of guys who isn't terribly talkative to begin with. Sometimes people who are like than can be judged as being secretive when really they just have nothing to add at the moment.

Who knows, LE will work their case and I am sure we will know soon enough what their feel for the matter is.

Were they looking for her or are they still fixated on this mattress? Were there any dogs there today? I didn't see any around on the news videos that were posted.
