Report about Zahra Baker, recap of events from yesterday also stating EB is assisting police, Adam Baker arrested and held on $7000 bond, picked up relatives from the airport yesterday.

Good to see the media in Australia have picked up Zahra's story again.

I should be sleeping, been awake for 24 hours, but I can't stop thinking of Zahra. Please let LE find what they need to give peace to all who love Zahra. And do so quickly! They shouldn't be out in those storms.... Prayers for all of the searchers, and those who are losing sleep worrying about this beautiful little girl. There are special places for anyone that may have harmed her!

Does anyone know how long it takes generally for DNA testing to come back?

I know that toxicology tests on body tissue can take weeks or even months to process. DNA would be quicker than that, right?

I'm pretty sure FBI forensics can get any of that rather quickly.

Circumstantial evidence of a crime. A person can be successfully convicted of murder on circumstantial evidence of a crime that can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the crime occurred and the defendent was responsible for that crime. (Sorry I wasn't more clear, I tend to do that :blush: be unclear!)

Sarx, if they didn't go deep enough the first time. I would think they would go back out and research just to make sure they didn't miss anything after the mattress reported as found, was found.

Good catch! What is that? My eyesight is terrible, but it looks interesting. Also the male and female in the bottom left side appear to be running up to the group, maybe?

Wasn't it reported yesterday that FBI (and someone else) had labs on site (like mobile labs KWIM?) on site yesterday during that search by the creek?

If so, I wonder what kind of lab work can be done inside of those? I have no clue.

If the samples are sent off---in previous cases here on WS we've seen the DNA samples take a week to as long as months or even a year.

(The year is for real old cold cases and where there is a backlog of testing for that state IIRC)

Found where they'd already searched? Anyone think it could have been moved? Perhaps with the thought that a "cleared" search site would be the best hiding place?
