it just occurs to me that i am not seeing a "grid" laid out for searching the area, nor am i seeing sifters anywhere in sight. it appears they are looking for larger pieces than just bone fragments (ie: Caylee Anthony case). Maybe I am comparing apples to oranges as the Caylee investigation - they had actually found a skull. Here - it appears as if they are on a fishing expedition. I am now a little concerned that a grid pattern hasn't been set up in all of the spots they are digging and scratching at the earth or moving piles of mulch. seems like if some remains (god forbid) are found in this area - the defense could argue a disturbed scene. i hate the thought that i might be helping someone's defense - but i am hopeful the police don't compromise the scene in their good intentions.
