HEARING AIDs

I thought them being still in the house was an oversight. It was reported they were found in the hall. No clue if they were on a hall (telephone) table or on the floor or where exactly in the hall. My own suspicion is that they were "forgotten" in the panic and were meant to have been disposed of along with Z and her leg.

If they were found on the floor, my guess would be they were actually in Z's ears and fell out at the time she was removed from home.

Without knowing where in the hall they were located makes it a bit hard for me to specualte why they were there.

It's possible. I think it was more like she wasn't wearing them at the time and something so small they weren't noticed at first as being left behind. MOO

If she actually hadn't been in the house for days, that shows just how much housekeeping wasn't done if they'd fallen out and weren't noticed. Another thought is maybe they were placed there to make it look like they'd fallen out while she was being abducted. That is, of course, if they were on the floor. MOO

This one has a pic of Zahra getting her hearing aids on page 8; next to an article discussing advanced technology and FCC issues...but still no manufacturer, that I could find. But this seems to have some very good information about providers and foundations in the area.

If her hearing aids fell out after she was already dead and LE had DNA done on them it would show she was deceased yes? If the ans is yes that will be how they knew in such a short time it was a homicide case. JMO

Good point, however, if that were the case it would also seem LE would know the death occurred inside the house and secure it as a crime scene at the time. MOO

And also the above mentioned articles that it appears Starky was the main supporter at the May Charlotte event. Oriah conjectures, that they distributed to said audiologists/ENT drs in those locations. Therefore are likely to pull voluteers from those locations in support of that event.


And just to go on another rant....I wonder who signed persmission for Zahra (minor) to be used in the media for said event? She is quite all over the place, and generally speaking...you need a consent for a minor for that.

OK - THAT'S interesting. Maybe even blatant blood on them. I have to ponder this.

interesting question. We only know when she was reported missing, if she were killed while awake, chances are, she would have had her aids in and her leg on, unless it was right before bedtime, in which case Z was in the habit of removing both items. If she were wearing them at the time of death, there should be some sort of dna and quite possibly decomp evidence on them.

arggg, gonna have to visit the Caylee Anthony thread and read up again on the decomp things. IIRC, the process begins immediately and it is a distinct chemical reaction within the body that can be detected (ie Anthony case trunk decomp testing).

Great, more research, arggg. Being a good example is really hard, lol. And time consuming. I may have to go back to the previous read, think, type method and links be damned! JK sigh.

Do we know the type/brand/model of hearing aids she had? I'm more interested in any box type gadget that runs the wires to the earpieces. The size of it. Or were they wireless types? I seem to recall in the vid there were cords but perhaps that was just for testing? I'm hearing aid stupid.

Oriah, have you tried contacting reporter Jennifer Moxley to see what she might be able to share? She covered the event and has posted recently on another site, where she left a heartfelt message for Zahra and a promise to keep following her case and help bring her justice.

We do know they called it a homicide very quickly for some reason. Whatever the reason seems they should have had it the crime scene anyway unless they believe she was taken alive somewhere else.

I know and that's another reason I'm slightly confused why AB was allowed access back into the house, and to have the 'memorial' after LE said it was a homicide investigation. :waitasec: MOO

All of the hearing aids I'm familiar with are wireless so I have no idea. MOO

1 a.....I think Zahra has been gone for quite awhile.The 2:30 am time is just a cover story. IMO EB and AB knew something was coming up that would expose Zahra was missing. Maybe a family member coming over or a DSS visit or someone checking on the homeschooling. I don't know what,but something made them realize "we need to come up with a story".JMO

b......again,Zahra was gone before the fire. She never woke up and put her leg on to see what was going on.The fire was part of the cover up for her disappearence.c........No one else has seen Zahra for weeks prior to the fire.

d........Drugs change people. They do things they would never have considered before. Besides,I think that's also part of the cover story.He didn't leave her, she was already gone.

IMO the reason none of the scenarios described make sense is because they aren't true.Something horrible happened to Zahra at the hands of the people who were supposed to love and protect her.

Oh Lord! I had never considered that before!!! Of course, she didn't wake up because she wasn't there!!
