Agreed. But having her missing would draw much more attention, so it's pretty clear to me that whatever happened to Zahra wasn't planned. If this is a case of habitual abuse that progressed to the point of fatal injury, then what would prompt AB to help in the cleanup (and I do believe that he did)? Much easier to just lay the whole thing at the abusers feet. If other crimes were being comitted, in addition to physical abuse, and AB took part in those crimes, I would think it more likely for him to have some incentive to get rid of evidence. If Zahra had merely been ill, and died as a result of that illness, why wouldn't AB and EB just come forward with that, instead of leap right to clean up? The charges for that would have been much less than the charges she's currently facing, and whatever ones he might or might not be facing.

I totally agree with you on that! What would make someone murder a child?
did Zahra see EB doing something see her with someone.. Was she witness to something? drug deals or something like that! or a Boyfriend on the side?
Heck it could be anything. JMO

Hi Rose,

Most schools will give a child supplies if they cant afford them we have many places here in florida that give out free backpacks pencils paper crayons to any child also buses are provided for them to get there free breakfast and lunches are provided if you cant afford to buy or provide lunch. So there is really no excuse for a child to not be in school except LAZY parents!!!1 JMO

This is true, but the ones who use it as an excuse (not saying that they have), are really just not willing to go to the effort. You have to care a little bit, to do these things. IIRC, they didn't even sign her up for free lunch- someone correct me if I'm wrong.

What I am speaking of is a mentality. Apathy, or a lack of care. Most parents would jump through fire for their kids. Some won't fill out an ap for free lunch or go to a backpack drive.

Sorry to self-quote, but Hudson Elementary started August 25 this year.

Also, it is apparently located on "Roy E. Coffey Dr."

And the kids are having an attendance competition this fall for the opportunity to win a brand new bike.

Zahra would have loved the chance to win herself a bike. How proud she would have been if she could have done that.

This is true! and this is why DSS should have been there! and not just once!

I also think children that are homeschool need to be checked in on from time to time. Not all parents that homeschool are good parents and may be hiding something esp child abuse.. JMO

Maybe, but removing her from school isn't going to stop DSS from coming. In fact, that would draw more red flags. There's some reason they COULDN'T send Zahra to school, imo. I just can't figure out what that reason might be.

It can stop people from being able to alert DSS. Because a teacher sees the child every day and can note a pattern (injuries, sicknesses, neglect of or hygiene, absences and tardies, etc.), and they are obligated to contact authorities if they believe there may be abuse or neglect. JMO

The Tahoe was doused with gas on the inside. So I doubt burn material was taken from the brush pile and placed inside rather, they tried to burn the inside of the Tahoe as well. IMO

I was explaining yesterday how this same scenario happened to a women who had been murdered. The perp doused the inside of her car with gas and lit it but he didn't leave a window open. The fire flashed but was robbed of oxygen and quickly went out. LE found it just like the Tahoe was found. Stinking of gas with small amounts of burn material inside. Fire needs oxygen to burn and it uses it up very fast inside of a closed up vehicle.

I think they took out whatever they where trying to burn, tossed in the note and left the door open so it would be found. And it was, stinking of gas with burn material.

If this were the case, it would make me wonder why they felt that had to go ahead with the plan that night. Why not just scrap the plan and start from scratch? Everything about the fire incident just screams of panic to me. I'd bet my bottom dollar that Zahra was long gone, DSS had scheduled a visit VERY close to the date of the missing child report, and that's what forced their hand to stage the kidnapping/fire incident. Something either went wrong, or they feared they hadn't covered their tracks due to panic, and bailed on the plan of discovering Zahra missing during the kidnapping set up. The time lapse between the fire and the 911 call is when they went over their tracks to make sure they hadn't missed anything, imo. I'm seeing a "time is closing in" scenario, here. Something HAD to be done, no matter how shoddily, no matter how rushed. JMO

I can't for the life of me get a handle on why Zarha never returned to school. I would think EB would be THRILLED to have Zahra back at school and out of her hair. Not buying the homeschooling thing for one minute. So, first day of school at Hudson was Aug. 27, and Zahra never shows up. But furniture store clerk reports seeing Zahra on Sept. 25 and doesn't make any special note of physical condition (apart from pros. leg and hearing aids). What possible reasons could there be for a full month of no school, especially when you've already drawn attention from DSS? I'm missing something here, and can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

Sorry to go here... warning - nasty speculation:

If EB was selling "access" to Zahra, she might have done that at home during the day.

I guess that means the investigators are not at a GJ hearing.

Oh i think LE wants all their eggs in that basket before they go to GJ.
They want to have everything they can ... I dont think they are in a hurry because they have these two right where they want them! JMO

Would neighbors notice men comming and going from that house?
Have they noticed anything like that?

Much more real emotion than ANYONE who actually knew Zahra has shown so far, IMO.

I realized tonight I started myself a new Halloween tradition.

Once the trick or treaters were gone and the streets got quiet, I filled a little bag with some of my favorite candy. I tied it with a white ribbon and sat it on the railing of my deck. I placed a flameless candle next to it to help light the way.

I know it's silly but she didn't get to dress up this year or have fun with her friends getting scared. She didn't get to trick or treat and enjoy her own candy but her own candy is waiting for her anyway.

I'm sure the neighborhood cats are completely puzzled by a bag of sweets with a flickering box next to it but oh well lol. I'm going to continue this every year for the kids we fall in love with and who's stories remind us there will be one less trick or treater that year. This year was for Zahra.

Oh, you made me well up with tears. That poor, poor kid. She didn't ask for much, the sweet baby. She should be here. I so wish I could grab her up in my arms and hug her and then take her back to OZ to her grandma. It's too much, really.
Yup, this is one of those cases for me. All of these kids are precious but a little girl who valiantly struggled through cancer with an upbeat spirit? I really can't take it. It's so, so wrong.

Sepsis can occur immediately. My niece went home one day from school with a sore throat. My brother gave her some aspirin (she was running a temperature) and something OTC (I think Theraflu). An hour later his wife went to check on her and she was bleeding out of every orifice in her body including her pores. They raced her to the ICU and though doctors, specialists and nurses worked tirelessly for the next 10 hours, she was pronounced dead....12 hours from onset, though she complained of sore throat only that afternoon.

I've thought it, but never wanted to say it. I've also wondered about child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, especially when looking at why someone in another country would give EB 10,000 over a period of 1 year. All speculation on my part...I have nothing solid to go on, and I don't plan on taking this line of thinking any further here in this forum.

(Hope that covers me with the mods.)
