IMO they were looking for small pieces of something ie, broken bits of the prosthesis.
Would neighbors notice men comming and going from that house?
Have they noticed anything like that?
She looks like she gained alot of weight. :waitasec:
The date I took from their website said Aug. 27 :waitasec:

From Rad's rupdate picture it looks like the red~van~thingy is still out there at the house
OT Thanks Punk, tried that, no use. I'll be ok once I return to my doc visit in 2 months. They just have to adjust my meds then the insomnia goes away.
Sorry to go here... warning - nasty speculation:
If EB was selling "access" to Zahra, she might have done that at home during the day.
Sorry to self-quote, but Hudson Elementary started August 25 this year.
Also, it is apparently located on "Roy E. Coffey Dr."
And the kids are having an attendance competition this fall for the opportunity to win a brand new bike.

Sepsis can occur immediately. My niece went home one day from school with a sore throat. My brother gave her some aspirin (she was running a temperature) and something OTC (I think Theraflu). An hour later his wife went to check on her and she was bleeding out of every orifice in her body including her pores. They raced her to the ICU and though doctors, specialists and nurses worked tirelessly for the next 10 hours, she was pronounced dead....12 hours from onset, though she complained of sore throat only that afternoon.

DIAL UP IS NOT GOOD !!!Can someone post a still pic please?
I think I have cried more today over everything this poor baby went through than I have since this all started. The story of LE placing toys at the base of the tree tore my heart up.
Zahra would have loved the chance to win herself a bike. How proud she would have been if she could have done that.

Yes and men especially cops don't cry easy or let that emotion out. He was on TV, that is even more telling that he broke up then. If ever a cop wants to hold it together it is while on TV. He tried so hard, his facial muscles you can tell were contracting to try and hold it back.
Edit to add: He also said no missing person or ABDUCTION
I want to know what happened to Zahra but am so afraid we will all be even more horrified when and if we do find out.
JMO, MOO'S
I started myself a new Halloween tradition.... I filled a little bag with some of my favorite candy. I tied it with a white ribbon and sat it on the railing of my deck. I placed a flameless candle next to it to help light the way.
I know it's silly but she didn't get to dress up this year or have fun with her friends getting scared. She didn't get to trick or treat and enjoy her own candy but her own candy is waiting for her anyway.
I'm going to continue this every year for the kids we fall in love with and who's stories remind us there will be one less trick or treater that year. This year was for Zahra.

Maybe I have the wrong one? Under the "Parents & Students" tab, the "Calendar" tab?
The stepmother of Zahra Baker is expected to appear in court in Burke County on Monday to face a larceny charge unrelated to the girl's dissapearance.
No need to apologize, I don't feel picked on! I said that the accidental drug overdose was wishful thinking more than anything. But I'm looking for something to explain AB's behavior. He definitely loves his daughter, or he would have left her behind in Australia, I'm fairly convinced about that part. Instead, he went to a lot of trouble and inconvenience to bring her here, so it's not logical that he would then want to get rid of her suddenly, with or without EB.
An angelic child must be pretty inconvenient if you're a dark gothic fairy though, which is what I think EB meant by the "dark child...lol" comment - meaning, "here's the child that doesn't fit in". Now I can believe that she would want to get rid of Z, but I still don't think AB's love for his new wife with whom he was arguing, was so blind that he would go along with a heinous crime and kill his own child who he had raised as a single dad for most of his life. I'm not buying it, and I don't think LE thinks so either, or he wouldn't be out on bail.
That's just not the way it works - a single parent who gets into arguments with a new partner is more likely to turn to the child for additional support, not push them further away. They're a team remember, and it's the new partner who is the outsider. Similarly, since the neighbors heard the arguments, so did the child, so it would only be natural for Z to stand up to EB and defend her father. That could have been the motive right there for EB, but not for AB to go along with any cover up. For that to happen, AB would need to be convinced that it was an accident. You probably had all these conversations already in threads I have not been able to keep up with, but while I do not think he's entirely innocent, it's just not logical (to me) that AB would agree to be involved in any cover up unless:
1. it was a genuine accidental death or
2. EB convinced him it was accidental.
This is the only thing that makes sense to me. Either that, or he's telling 100% truth and knows nothing about it, but I find that hard to believe. I think he knows more than he's telling right now.
I also think it's possible that Zhara had her "accident" and passed away before they ever moved into that house, she was only stored there for a while. If she died in the house and the body was transported away from the house in the car, why look in the garden?
But you guys know better...I don't follow things here too much, and this doesn't make a whole lot of sense at all.....poor Zhara, I hope she manages to show someone she loves the truth of what happened to her, eventually.
